"Such a great place for this cute town! Servers were friendly, and the food came out fast! The bread they start you with was AMAZING. I will come back just for that. Portion sizes were large and their angle food cake dessert was a perfect finish. With really great fresh berries and such a great crust on the cake. I would definitely reccomend this place. Kid friendly: 3/5. their bathrooms weren't great. They did have booster/high chair accommodations. Their menu had item suitable for children. Mostly street parking (I prefer spacious lots for stroller or car seat accessibility and saftey) Accessibility : 1/5 while their tables can accommodate wheelchairs, the entrance is elevated and would make walkers and any type of wheel chair difficult. Bathrooms/sink was not good for wheelchair use. Booths are not accessible."

It's like eating at Grandma's house, everybody's family.. The young kids are wiping off tables, seating people, doing dishes. A true family ran steakhouse.... Haven't had a bad one yet. View menu

beautiful small, picturesque restaurant for a small town in the middle of kansas. the service was excellent and eating even better. they are only open on Friday Saturday to google, so when they come by here, they try it for themselves

Outstanding food! Service was amazing! Not what I expected for such a small town. Food is like what you’d see on a menu in Kansas City. Well executed. We were blown away by this place. Will be detouring to come thru again in a few weeks on our way back across the states.

Wonderful little family run place! Food was excellent, menu is like something you’d see in a city! Very cool 100 year old building. The owner and her family have restored it beautifully. They did all the work them selves to the inside. Impressive to say the least. Our waitress, Hilary, was just super! Very friendly and efficient. She’s the owners sister. After trying the other few place to eat in this town during our work here, the Tavern is by far and away the BEST!

The restaurant is definitely unique.Their food is a little pricy but from my experience the price is worth it. The atmosphere is phenomenal, the staff friendly and attentive, and the food is second to none. In fact as an avid lover of steak my only complaints were that there isn’t a smaller option for steak and the wait staff seem to forget about the complementary items I thought they provided, that being a couple rolls and some home made spread.If your in Sharon Springs on a weekend and want a place to go for a sit down meal, then this is the place to be.
