"I stopped in at Trader 's Express Deli for breakfast as it was the only place that was open for breakfast in the Wall Street area that morning. They must open around 6:00am because they were really busy with locals who seemed to know the owners and cooks of the deli. I was starting The Great Saunter walk around Manhattan with a starting point at Fraunces Tavern and there was not much open around there that morning. I had a Sausage, Egg and Cheese on a roll and it really hit the spot. I was starved. The sandwich was delicious and was a nice combination of flavors. It was also generous in size and made the perfect breakfast. I plan on coming back if I stay in the area again. The service is really friendly and I like the way the staff and owner interact with their customers. It is a very friendly place to go to eat."

First time going here and the lady in the front did not seem very happy with serving people this morning. I ordered a fruit smoothie. It was terrible , tasted very artificial. They do no use fresh fruits and the drink is very watery.

Anyone who claims that this establishment is overpriced clearly hasn't spent much time in New York City or is simply out of their mind. Find me another place in this area where you can get a hero sandwich, fries, and a soup for less than 10 dollars. I've tried them all and have yet to find one.

I always encounter a problem when trying to have breakfast at this restaurant. The chef seems constantly annoyed and has an unfriendly attitude when asked questions. It's a shame because the location is extremely convenient, right across the street from my job. I simply expect better service when paying higher prices. View menu

The Mexican chef at this restaurant will argue with you if he makes a mistake with your order. I requested a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich with extra cheddar cheese, but received a sandwich with extra American cheese instead. When I went back to get the correct order, the chef was annoyed, argumentative, and even questioned if I paid for the extra cheese (which I had). This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it will definitely be my last.

I just left the restaurant and the male employee who made my smoothie was very rude. I ordered the energizer smoothie for the second time, the first time it was mostly pink/red which is how I like it because of the strawberries. This time it was green, watery, and had no ice or slush. I mentioned to the worker that it should be pink/red and that I couldn't taste the strawberry. He ignored me and attended to other customers. I asked for a refund, but he told me to wait because he had already made my drink. It took over 10 minutes to get a refund. The first time I went, a woman made my smoothie and she was respectful and nice. This male employee was rude and a waste of my lunch break.
