"Came down from Pueblo for a football game, and decided to give this place a shot. Glad we we did! We all had the chicken fried steak, and it was the best I have ever had! You can definitely tell they hand dip the steak themselves. It was meaty and full of flavor. Dad and brother had theirs smothered in green chili, mine was served with the brown gravy. Next time will definitely try the Mexican food. Waitstaff was friendly, and attended to all our needs. Loved the atmosphere of the dining room also. A must stop when in Las Vegas!"

We just left and it was by far the best meal we have had in 2 weeks on the road. I had the hamburger steak and my husband the ribs. Our waiter was the sweetest, most conscientious young man. I'd give more stars if I could. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped in 5:30 pm 2 tables of people less than 10 people in the restaurant. Another couple walked in before us, young, kind man seated them then seated us. Young bossy lady came from the back scolding him in front of us about where he seated us, in an almost empty restaurant. His face was turning red, made me sick how he was being treated. We LEFT, we weren't going to try to have dinner with her power tripping on him. Service: Dine in

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
