"So! This place is *very cool* for draft beer drinkers and outdoor seating on nice days. WITH A SELF POUR CITADEL OF DIFFERENT DRAFTS, it's very unique! However, this is no longer The Mason Jar, like the street sign says or like Google led me to believe. They do not have table service. You order/open a tab at the counter. I felt a little bad taking my grandma and niece there thinking we were having a family dinner lol but that's on me for not doing research, I guess. The chicken fried steak onion rings were VERY good. Our burger was missing a lot of key ingredients and wasn't cooked to the temp we ordered. We didn't want to complain as this was a rare family occasion for us. The flatbread pizza looked delicious. The service was not super friendly. There was barely any acknowledgment when I told her we were first-timers as if she didn't care. And she didn't have to, but I was excited, and that was kind of a buzz kill. She kind of seemed mad that we were confused on how this all worked.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar, I wouldn't bring your kids..."

Really awesome spot with kind folks. Maybe the best tap list in the springs if you’re looking for things like weldwerks or cerebral!

Regarding kid-friendliness, the atmosphere is quite nice and appealing, but keep in mind that there seems to be a strong emphasis on alcohol.

We always stop by here when we’re passing through the Springs. We like their food and they are dog friendly on the outdoor patio. Beer selection is large but mostly typical taproom FuFu beers. Not too many “real” beers.

The food is still good, I think it's the same as it was previously. They don't have service. You order your food at the hostess desk. The food is dropped off. You get your own drinks. Most of the tables are very high and uncomfortable. I would describe the place as a doit your self beer wall with food and tvs in a log cabin. I've been going for 20 years, and I may be looking for a new place.Kid-friendliness: I would not bring kids. View menu

Loved this place delicious food, amazing collection of draft beers, and very warm ambient made the evening extra special! Staff was super friendly and this being a local eatery, the quality and taste of food along with super fast service was outstanding. Would love visiting again.Vegetarian options: Plenty!Kid friendliness: Kids menu, friendly staff, hang out/explorative area for kids, sitting arrangement, overall ambient.Parking: More than enough parking spots!

We visited this restaurant because it used to be the Mason Jar, our favorite spot in Colorado Springs. The new decor is nice, but it seems to cater mainly to beer enthusiasts. The self-serve tap system on the wall is really cool; they charge by the ounce, making it easy to sample different drinks without feeling committed. However, the prices are on the higher side for the quality of food. The $18 chicken fried steak clearly comes from the freezer, but the baked Mac and Cheese and the White Ghost flatbread pizza are quite impressive.

Nice little local spot with out door seating that has a great view. We both got Teriyaki Chicken that was done well, including the pineapple slices on top! Salads were wll done and brought out before the meal with plenty of time to finish before the main dish arrived. If you are a beer drinker they have a wall of taps with different beers that you can run a tab on. You get a card that you swipe over the tap and then the card is charged by the ounce. I suspect it can get pretty pricey if you want to try multiples of their craft beers. View menu

I was thrilled to discover online that they serve wine on tap along with beer. However, I was disappointed to find that they only offered one type of white wine and no red at all. There were plenty of beer options, a few cocktails, and a couple of frozen drinks available. If you're a beer enthusiast looking to sample a variety, this is definitely the spot for you. The food was good and reasonably priced; I had the blackened salmon, along with a salad and broccoli, and the portions were satisfying. Just a heads up, I wouldn't recommend walking to this place since there are quite a few homeless individuals in the area.

Being a mountain biker and one who loves trails (and beer), I wanted to love this place … but they didn’t make it easy. Even planned to buy and take one of their t-shirts back Florida but by the time we were finally able to get out of there all enthusiasm was lost. We ordered wings and a bowl of chili and it took about an hour and a half for the food to arrive. I think our ticket just got lost. They were apologetic and even gave us the wings for free (which is why I’m giving 4 stars) but the experience was tainted. However, the place is so cool and the self pours are fun so when back in the area I will be sure give them another chance. Hopefully that was a one-off.
