"We chose this restaurant to try their Valentines Day special menu. Both the green salad and Caesar salad were very good. Our disappointment was due to the minute wait to be served our entrÃe ... and the restaurant was not busy at all. This was Sunday afternoon before Valentines Day. We chose the braised beef short rib option. The beef was very tender but had only a tablespoon of sauce on it and it left a bitter after taste. The piped mashed potatoes were lovely to look at, but were barely lukewarm and needed butter or the short rib sauce on them. The broccolini should have been steamed a couple more minutes."

"The food is decent overall. The sushi was supposed to be made with sticky rice, but unfortunately, it wasn't — I find it hard to believe that's how it's meant to be prepared. I wouldn't say the sushi is good. The chicken karaage was crispy on the outside, but it had an off-putting smell indoors, which I didn't appreciate. The chicken karaage ramen was okay, but it could definitely be improved. I didn't try any other dishes, so I can't comment on those. "

"The food was good for Colorado Mexican cuisine, but since I spend a significant amount of time in San Antonio, it doesn't quite meet those standards. The tortillas aren't freshly made, which is necessary for a five-star rating. However, the Mariachi Fajitas were very creative and tasty. The cheese enchiladas on the lunch menu were a good value for the price. The customers, who appeared to be locals, seemed to be enjoying their meals, and the drink selection was extensive. It seems that most people in this area appreciate dining here, so it’s probably worth a visit."

"Just discovered Opa Grill and it was EXCELLENT! Aly took great care of us! She was friendly, professional and so attentive. And it was quite clear everyone there works together pitching in to get things done. The menu has wonderful dishes with something for everyone. We had an appetizer sampler which had dolmades, tzatziki, hummus, feta with a spicy tomato sauce, olives, and pita. Our entrees were Solomos (grilled salmon), Opa Combo (gyro, pastitsio, moussaka), and a Greek Combo (gyro and spanakopita). All dishes had Opa rice, veggies, pita with tzatziki and choice of salad or a soup (chicken and rice seasoned with lemon and egg). We got baklava and a chocolate souffle to go. We will be back as we want to try other dishes along with the bougatsa dessert (phyllo filled with warm semolina custard topped with vanilla bean ice cream). Everything was so fresh and delicious and overall, dinner at Opa Gill was OUTSTANDING!"

"The worst experience in a very long time. We decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my family and it all went wrong. First we weren’t greed for almost 20 min just standing waiting at the door then one of the waitress came and told us 5 min. Finally we sat and order right away since it look like a lot of people were waiting for their food. We all order our dinner and the nightmare began. Waited for 1:30 hours for food and got yelled a couple of times because I asked if we were close to get our food. The food didn’t even taste good when we got it. They were not organized and had only 1 waitress that looked like the owner 2 of her kids I think they were working and 1 runner.I will never eat here again."
