"The barbecue here is fantastic! The portions are massive—definitely enough for two people, or one person can enjoy it twice since I’ll be having leftovers tomorrow. The grit dish was unique and really tasty. I had never tried white barbecue sauce before, and I’m happy to say it gets a big thumbs up from me. The red sauce was a bit too spicy for my taste, but the meat was so good on its own—it’s a true test of great barbecue, don’t you think? Hogwood even included the cutest little moon pie! Overall, the food was excellent, and I would definitely order from here again!"

"A girlfriend and I went on a Thursday. We weren't able to get reservations prior so chanced going as a walk in, in hopes to get a seat at the bar. Bar was empty and we were sat promptly upon our arrival. The bartender greeted us and served us water whilewe reviewed the drink menu. We both ordered a FRISKY BUSINESS cocktail which is Raspberry Infused Picker?s Vodka, Pineapple,Mint, Lemon,and Champagne. Delicious!! We were then brought out some warm house bread with butter and placed our orders. I wentwith the MISOYAKI VERLASSO SALMON with stir-fried rice noodles, mushrooms, radish, carrot, sesame-ginger sauce and an order oftheir MAC N CHEESE with apple bacon chiles for us to share. My friend ordered the FILET with house potatoes and a side ofCREAMED SPINACH SPINACH topped with a fried egg. Everything was hot, fresh, and so good. I will definitely be back!!"

"We had a fantastic lunch with friends from Atlanta at Puckett's. Our waiter, who was new to the restaurant, was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We chose to sit at a sidewalk table because the weather was perfect, and the sidewalk traffic added to the interesting experience."

"I had a delightful lunch here recently. The shredded beef and shredded chicken tacos were excellent, but the crispy shells could use some improvement. The tacos would easily earn a 5-star rating if they made the crunchy shells from scratch using corn tortillas; the hard shells I received tasted like those from the grocery store. However, the chips and salsa were outstanding – they had a wonderful flavor, a perfect amount of cilantro, and just the right level of spiciness. I also really enjoyed the rice and beans! I would definitely come back, but I might try the fajitas next time. My dad ordered the chimichanga and thought it was just okay; while he loved the filling, he felt it was a bit lacking. He mentioned that chimichangas usually come topped with cheese and other ingredients, but this one was more like a small fried burrito, which didn't match his expectations. He did enjoy the queso that came on the side, though. The atmosphere was lovely, and our server was very attentive and friendly."

"Our server was very attentive at the beginning, but after the food arrived, they did not check back in with us until it was time to give us the bill. One of the members of my party left their credit card behind. The restaurant was very quick to call me to let me know that someone had left a card!"
