"This place is a joke my wife and I walked in for dinner they sat us at a booth there was food all over the seats and the table. We waited 15 minutes for someone to come take at least a drink order And gave up on that and walked to the bar and sat down trying to order. I walked to the host to send an asked for the manager whose name was Mike and explain to him what was going on and pointed out the food on the floor in front of the hostess stand and told him we just wanted to have a good meal. I ordered steak without any onions on it which is in there tuckers sauce. So my 16 ounce fillet came with onion sauce on it anyway and we ordered baked potatoes when our food was about done we were informed that there were no baked potatoes and asked if we wanted something else so we got steak fries which weren’t all the way cooked. Then the bartender told Mike about the situation and he offered to take a couple drinks off or get me a new steak. After we were done with everything and already ready to go. Won’t be coming back this place is a little trashy to see the best."

Service was fine, and the filet mignon was amazing. Pizza was also very good. However, the food was slow to get out and half of our orders were wrong. One order was already cold when it was handed out. Overall, not worth the price.

Pretty bad food. I had lunch at Tucker's in South County July 2 2012. Ordered porterhouse, salad, and potato. It is the middle of summer and I can't imagine a salad without a tomato in it. Steak was ordered medium. There was no pink in it at all. I would classify this steak as well done. Not on did my server ask me how my meal was. She already knew the truth. Will never go back there again! View menu

Not worth it. The onion rings were soggy. You have to pay extra for chesse on salad, which was lettuce, onion, and bacon bits. The steak was under cooked. The shrimp was burnt. The backed potato was watery, as if they boil the potato before baking (and it tasted that way). The bread was yeasty and cold. We spent $50 for the worst meal ever. We will never return, even if we receive a gift certificate for the holidays.

great place, good food! After reading some of the reviews, I was a little nervous that I could eat in tuckers. I was pleasantly surprised to find great service and good food. we came with a group of 18. I thought our meal would take forever, but they did a great task to get our food to us in a reasonable time frame. all went on and about how great their steaks were. I had the chicken breast, which was really good! if they are eating or eating soaking, that is not the place for them. If they eat like good, they will love it!

recently I visited her South Circle House with my wife for our 17th anniversary. we chose tuckers on the proposal of my son who just ran over the steaks. the place is very beautiful, but I was very disappointed by the porterhouse I ordered. I found the steak extremely hard and hard to eat. although I have finished the steak, because I am not one to cause a scene or get around because I am afraid of retalliation by the kitchen staff. I'm not sure if I'd spend the money back at your place. destroyed in Festus.................Skip brown View menu

Watch out for EXTRA applications. who has ever heard of being accused of aujus? if they order a prime rib medium, it rarely comes burned, and let their waiter know that they are offered to take something. I expected more than $2.00 for a $24.00 meal. When we got our bill, we had to ask what was taken. we said the aujus were taken $2.00 (we both ordered the main rib, the other 1 was good. we'll think twice before we go back. we were there before and do not remember to be accused (this is something I would have noticed). we will definitely think twice before we go back.

I am very displeased with the service I had. I did not feel welcomed, everyone around me was being helped and fast and we (my daughter and I), were not, please let me mention that my daughter and I were the only Black people in the place, and that is okay, we are foodies and we are sometimes in situations like this. It took the waitress to assist us 14mins, just to take a drink order. I literally had an anxiety attack, the environment was not welcoming and we felt as if WE didn't belong. I asked for our food to go, for Tuckers is my favorite place for steaks, but I think I will continue to visit the Soulard location, I think my people are better treated there. Oh I was overcharged by 9 dolla...

"Highlights: great boneless wings, house-cut fries and sweet tea. The shrimp is lightly breaded, lacking seasoning and not crispy. I feel that the shrimp poboy 6pc)$15 is overpriced for the quality and taste. I can spend less and get a much tastier shrimp poboy that comes with tomatoes and a hot side for a lower price elsewhere. ... It was our first time at Shuckers on a Friday night at 6:45pm. There are maybe 50 tables and probably 75% seated. Before we came we looked on their website for the menu. We walked in and were immediately seated by our server who served drinks right away. My partner's sweet tea $2.99) was excellent, not too sweet. I always order water but the water here had a bad aftertaste. We ordered Appetizers: boneless wings $6.99 6pc)and fried cheese sticks $7.99. The cheese sticks were not hot and gooey where the hot cheese stretches after you take a bite Try the best ones at Redline Diner). The boneless wings were great, perfectly crispy. I tried the shuck'n hot wing flavor which was mild to medium spicy and sweet, no vinegar taste. The ranch dip is house made but not as good as most house-made ranch. My entree was a shrimp poboy $14.99). There were 6 medium shrimp that were lightly breaded and not crispy, and not seasoned enough. It was topped with shredded lettuce and sweet tartar sauce not remoulade as stated in the menu). It would have been better with tomatoes. It came with kettle potato chips or sub fries for $2 more). My partner ordered the shrimp dinner $17.99 9pc medium) with side salad shredded lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion), 2 hushpuppies and house-cut fries that are not crispy but delicious. These shrimp were the same that were on my poboy and my partner agreed that they were disappointing. I feel that the shrimp poboy is way overpriced for the quality and taste of the food. I can spend less and get a much tastier shrimp poboy that comes with tomatoes and a hot side for a lower price Try Tricky Fish). We had a great server. We plan to come back to try the stuffed shells, fried zucchini and chili cheese fries, and the brunch menu on Saturday. We didn't have dessert but in addition to the desserts listed they also have regular and pumpkin cheesecake"
