"I absolutely adore Arthur Avenue! Whenever my brother visits, our first stop is always here. The Italian sub "The Godfather" is absolutely delicious. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and funny. Every time I visit, I can't resist eating too many cookies because they are just too good to pass up. Additionally, they have a fantastic catering menu that we always use for our events and celebrations. The food is fantastic and the people are even better. A definite must-stop when in Honesdale. Don't forget to tell them I said hi!"

"An absolutely delightful experience! To begin, we were greeted in a most friendly and welcoming way. Upon being seated, we ordered drinks to start. My Manhattan was exactly the way I love them, and the small portion Ceasars Salad option presentation and taste was out of this world. I would come back again just to experience both. My wife opted to skip an appetizer and salad but enjoyed a glass of Cabernet Blanc and tasted my salad. The wine was a new one for her and she decided one glass was not going to be sufficient! Our entrees were beyond our expectations. My wife had the chicken curry, and I tried the special for the evening of Surf and Turf which consisted of twice smashed mashed potatoes, asparagus, four shrimp roasted on a skewer and a flank steak that was cooked to perfection. I asked for somewhere between rare and medium rare and that is exactly what arrived on my plate. The presentation and flavors were clearly an invitation to come back soon. We 've lived in the area and for almost 20 years and somehow never found this special treat. We will be bringing friends with us next time and we are thrilled to have found a new favorite"

"We normally love your food and service but I Came in today for lunch with my son and everything from food to service was horrible. We love your tomato basil soup but you had none which is ok but we ordered our food I ordered the chicken parm dinnerI got my salad but didn?t get bread and butter, our food comes and my spaghetti was a pile of 1 inch pieces of spaghetti, whythey were cut is beyond me, my son ordered 2 specialty slices a bbq chicken and a meat lovers, both pieces were just about burntto a crisp and he was given a smokehouse slice instead of the bbq chicken slice we told the waitress but we didn?t want to wastethe food so he ate it. We ordered a Sicilian pie and asked for it to be on a separate check. She comes with the check and thepizza was on the same bill. We went up front to pay and they swiped my sons debit card and handed him the slip to sign and itwasn?t the correct bill, you had to void the debit transaction. Idk what happened there today but it will be a very long timebefore we come back it was too many mistakes for me."

"There are limited vegan options in the city, so I was pleasantly surprised when my partner surprised me with a vegan option for our anniversary celebration. Although he spent over $100 for the meal, we found that everything was great, despite being a bit pricey. The takeout presentation was beautiful. The rice dishes were good, but the noodles were a bit bland as they lacked seasoning. We especially enjoyed the tacos and wraps, thanks to the flavorful sauce. The dipping sauce was a must-try. We also ordered two soups: one with tofu, sweet corn, and mushrooms in a delicious broth, which was very tasty. The other soup was just broth, and it was extremely salty, almost like salty pumpkin cake. While I usually don't add salt when I cook, the soup served as a reminder of the high salt content in packaged noodles. Despite the saltiness, the flavor was good. If I were to order again, I would choose the bowl with tofu and shiitake mushrooms, as well as the tofu, mushroom, and vegetable soup. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try any desserts this time, but I would definitely try them if they have vegan options. I look forward to going back and picking up my own food next time."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time and we absolutely loved it! It was a beautiful day, so we decided to sit outside. Everything was just delightful—the food was delicious and the service was quick. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant! We will definitely be returning soon!"
