"I have ordered take out at Flat iron multiple times over the last few years. I have been dining out for the last 47 years and I have never had experience like I had tonight. I ordered fries and a glass of wine while waiting for my mashed potatoes to takehome, as I was leaving and paying my bill the bar tender ? Lee A.? went out of his way to give me the smallest change possibleafter I handed him a $100. I was handed back EIGHT PENNIES. I have never heard of this happening in my 47 years of dining out.What a disrespectful bartender. I still gave him a 15% tip and left an extra nickel with the EIGHT Pennie?s so that he doesn?thaven?t to do this to the next customer. What an experience, wow."

"Having explored various "u-pick" farms in the past, we must say that Greig Farm stands out as one of the best in the Hudson Valley! Why is that? Let’s start with the selection. While the apple offerings were initially limited to Empire and Jonamac varieties, we expect a much wider variety to be available in the coming weeks. As for the blackberries, while some were fully ripe, most still need a little more time to reach maturity. The farm itself is quite expansive. After we completed our picking (priced at $7.99 per pound), we headed to the market/café, which is a short distance from the picking area. There, you can find a diverse range of products including fish, meat, local condiments, and cheese, among others. The menu also offers a variety of delicious meals, all prepared by a talented kitchen staff. You can choose to dine indoors or outside at the picnic tables. Don’t miss a visit to the Artesian Marketplace. It has a charming boutique vibe reminiscent of the shops on Tinker Street in Woodstock. Additionally, there’s a rustic room at the back of the marketplace that can be used for catering parties. Overall, Greig Farm is a must-visit destination for both adults and families!"

"I've been coming to this diner since my days as a Bard student (from '92 to '96), and it has always been my favorite spot. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is served quickly while exceeding my expectations every time. I make it a point to stop by whenever I'm in the area. Please, never close down!"

"Our experience was quite confusing. According to the website, the restaurant opens at 5:00 PM, but when we arrived on March 2 at 5:50 PM, the door was locked. We were informed that they wouldn't be opening for another 10 minutes, and the door was relocked. At 6:00 PM, the outdoor lights were switched on, but the door still remained shut. We waited in our car and watched several people attempt to enter, only to leave disappointed. By 6:20 PM, we decided to give up and leave as well. Throughout this time, the bartender was seemingly engrossed in something behind the bar, completely ignoring the front door. The staff member who had initially informed us of the delayed opening never returned. This was not the Irish hospitality we had anticipated, especially since we intended to review the restaurant for local whiskey club members. Unfortunately, we can’t comment on the food or service since we never got inside."
