"Uncle Peteza’s is by far my favorite pizza place. The fact that it is locally owned and actively involved in the community is just the icing on the cake. Sometimes it takes a little while to get your order since they are usually busy—which I love to see because it means they're thriving—but it's always worth the wait. I'm eagerly anticipating their reopening after the unfortunate fire so I can support them even more and enjoy their delicious pizzas! 10/10!"

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some cheese sticks, and both were absolutely fantastic! The order was prepared quickly!

I usually order from this restaurant when I'm babysitting my sister's kids. I don't usually eat much pizza, but this place is amazing. They use fresh ingredients, and the dough is top-notch.

The food here is outstanding, and the deliveries are usually several minutes early. The crust is thick and soft, the cheese is always melted to perfection without any burning, and the fresh ingredients are nicely distributed beneath the cheese, ensuring they stay in place on the pizza.

I can’t fully convey how devastated I was when they closed due to a fire. I hadn’t been living in Kenmore for long when I found Uncle Peteza’s, and from 2019 to 2022, I was a regular customer. Their pizza consistently had a quality that always hit the spot. I’m thrilled they’re back and can’t wait for more years of delicious pizza ahead! View menu

I absolutely love Uncle Pete and his amazing pizza. Unfortunately, there was a recent fire in the building caused by a power line that fell on the roof overnight. The fire destroyed the roof and significant parts of the interior, and now they will be closed for up to a year. It’s so disappointing, as we used to order their pizza every Friday night.

My wife and I just ate entirely too much of this gyro pizza. It comes with lettuce/tomatoes/sauce we had one hand on fork and one with pizza. It was our first time to have this special and it definitely ranks up as one of our favorites. I'd say 1/4 pizza per adult is more than enough, but you'll want to eat additional slices. So you might want to try a different pizza place if you're on a diet. Delicious! Service: Takeaway

"To elaborate, the location might seem deceptively unremarkable, situated just north of Thrasher's Corner amidst a cluster of strip malls that stretch for several blocks on all sides, with a similar scene repeating a mile north, where shopping abounds. However, once inside, you're welcomed into a clean, serene atmosphere that feels inviting and immaculate. The hostess on the day of my visit was both friendly and efficient, multitasking as a busser and server during the transition from lunch to dinner. I was promptly seated. The flooring is polished concrete, which can be a bit slippery when wet but is aesthetically pleasing and impeccably maintained. The dark wood walls and furniture, complemented by black curtains that divide different areas, not only enhance privacy but also help to absorb sound, creating a relaxed vibe. The menu features several cooked dishes, such as teriyaki and roasted or grilled finfish, along with many appealing options for children. While the drink menu emphasizes beer and wine, the sake I chose was delightful. They serve it in a small decanter with space for ice cubes, allowing it to chill without diluting—an innovative touch that’s both practical and charming, resembling a delicate piece of art. For my appetizer, I ordered the seaweed salad, which was beautifully plated with extra lettuce for an added visual appeal. This simple dish transformed into something fancy with just a few thoughtful touches. Next up was the miso soup, which had a slightly tart flavor, likely due to the wide-leaf seaweed included. I thoroughly enjoyed every drop. For the main, I opted for the 12-piece sashimi, which was perfectly timed to arrive after I finished my soup and salad. It was exquisitely presented, adorned with cucumbers, shredded daikon, and tiny cucumber cups filled with ginger and wasabi, alongside decorative vegetable elements. The visual appeal was nothing short of spectacular, and the fish was wonderfully soft and buttery. Next time, I might request to skip the superwhite, as it’s a personal preference of mine at sushi places, but it was quite tasty this time and certainly a favorite for many. Overall, I wouldn’t change a thing about this restaurant—except perhaps to wish that it were closer to my home."
