I'm really disappointed that Uncle Wings has closed down. I miss their fried rice and Wor Wanton soup the most. If the family decides to open another location, please keep me informed!

I went to Uncle Wongs with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The server was a very pleasent young lady and they had my to go order ready in 10 minutes. I had the house special fried rice and it was delicious.

This morning, I opened my fridge and discovered some Chinese food leftovers from my child's party: a combination fried rice and string beans in black bean sauce. The fried rice was outstanding—not too heavy on the soy sauce, just perfect. It paired wonderfully with the string beans on top. We were pleased with the food—we had broccoli beef, chow mein, a small appetizer, the soup of the day, and sweet and sour pork. Everything tasted just right, not too oily or salty, and I suspect there wasn't much MSG, as I didn't feel overly thirsty after our meal. This place is definitely convenient if you’re doing grocery shopping at New Sang Chong and want to grab takeout after placing your order.

I'm writing a follow up review after finding out Uncle Wongs closed down! I couldn't believe this could be true that I had to go see for myself. Here today, gone tomorrow... I was shocked and sad to know the truth. This place was really one of the best Chinese food restaurants and now I don't know where to go for my honey walnut shrimp cravings! I've been going here for years- my initial review was made in 2015! If you are the owner reading this. Please reopen!

One of 3, of the best Chinese restaurants in San Leandro. They 're now serving Thai tea and coconut pudding . I didn 't order the Thai tea, but, I did order the coconut pudding. Let me say this, it is extremely creamy perfect texture top layer of coconut cream which is thicker than what 's underneath which is in custody creamy coconut pudding that 's been strained there are no chunks of coconut in it. I really love Uncle Wongs! I've been a regular here for years, and I always enjoy the food. My go-to dishes are the wonton soup, green bean chicken with black bean sauce, and Singapore noodles. The beef chow fun is great as well! Currently, they are only offering takeout, but I'm hoping they will reopen for dine-in service soon. Orders typically take about 15 minutes, and the staff is always friendly. There's plenty of parking available in the lot, and there are many other stores nearby if you need to pass the time before picking up your order.

Here’s what I ordered: - **Peking Style Pork Chops:** Very good! The portion was impressive, with plenty of tender meat that had just the right amount of chew. The sauce had a nice tang to it, which complemented the dish perfectly. Make sure to enjoy this with rice—you won’t regret it! - **Honey Walnut Shrimp:** Also good, but not spectacular. The breading was thicker than I prefer, and the walnuts weren’t coated in the honey mayo sauce as I expected. Overall, Uncle Wong's is a typical Chinese restaurant that serves up fast, satisfying dishes.

This is my go to spot when I'm craving Chinese food. It's not the best that I've ever had, but everything tastes like it's supposed to and they never disappoint. My husband orders the sweet and sour pork. He really enjoys this. An issue we typically run in to is that the pork pieces are too fatty. But not here. You get a good amount of meat. My favorite is the beef chow fun. Tastes just like I remember growing up. Beef is tender and the sauce to noodle ratio is perfect. We've also enjoyed the egg rolls from here.
