The carnitas plate was fantastic, featuring tender, bite-sized pieces of carnitas, accompanied by flavorful beans and rice. The condiments were great too—both the guacamole and pico de gallo were delicious.

The caldo de pollo had a small amount of chicken. It came with a small neck bone, and a very small pice of chicken breast. Most of the soup contained carrots. Definitely not worth it. There are better places out there.

We don't often order from Vallarta, but we'll definitely consider it again soon. The tamales are excellent, and the rice and beans are tasty as well. The only downside is that they don't make the tamales in-house and mistakenly sent beef instead of chicken. Overall, I would recommend it! View menu
