"I hadn't been to this restaurant in years, but I recently decided to revisit. The food is outstanding! It's genuine Jamaican cuisine that is prepared with care and affection. It stands out from the countless other Jamaican restaurants in Brooklyn, at least in my opinion. I have always had pleasant interactions with the staff and didn't experience any issues during my recent visit. I come here at least once a week. The curry goat, stew chicken, and carrot juice are all excellent. The food is cooked with such love that it tastes like a comforting Sunday dinner made by your mother, haha."

The only thing I bought for myself was the fruit punch. It actually has ginger in it. The fruit punch tastes fresh.

Aside from the fact that the staff can sometimes have attitude for no reason, this is one of the best Jamaican restaurants in Brooklyn. The food is absolutely delicious!

The line will be at the door for the workers to be in the back doing absolutely nothing. They do not care about your time and extremely petty as if people aren’t paying for the service.

I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of my uncle while visiting from North Carolina. The food was excellent and the service was just as outstanding. I will definitely be returning on my next visit. View menu

What I dislike about this place, you order soup and they charge you the same price for broth. I orded soup not broth. No meat all provision orNo provision no meatIt's unfair that you pay full price and when you get home you are dissatisfied bc there is no meat in the soup

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
