"I 've been eating Vesuvius pizza since childhood. Businesses come and go, which is further exacerbated because of things out of our control. That is to say, for Vesuvius Pizza to stay strong in the neighborhood tells you all you need to know. When there were other pizzerias added to the area, I genuinely thought, those owners are bold and ambitious to try to take over any foot traffic. Because you can put gold flakes in your slice for all I care, nothing beats a classic neighborhood spot."

I received a pizza that was undercooked. It's ridiculous that they believe this is acceptable to serve to a customer.

It is the best pizzeria in this neighborhood. Usually buy a large regular pie. Other kinds of pizzas are good as well. Friendly staff View menu

The pizza is good, but there is a bit too much cheese on the slices. The crust is nice, but it is missing that golden New York oil on the pizza. The restaurant is small, with only three tables.

The pizza at this restaurant was awful. You would be better off making your own at home. The customer service was very poor. They even asked me to hurry up and leave because I was eating too slowly. It's a shame, as this place used to be nice in the past.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
