"Videri Chocolate is delicious. I loved that there were so many variations and being able to select my favorite cacao percentage that I enjoyed the most. The assortments of chocolate were also nice to see and know in preparation for future visits. The staff here are nice and professional. I was offered a tasting where I could taste the chocolates before purchasing. Tasting the chocolates elevated the experience, especially when spending $8 for quality chocolate. I can't wait to return to try the vegan fudgesicles perfect for a hot summer day.It was nice to see the inside finally and where chocolate was made. There is some history and knowledge here. I can see how the brand, from bean to bar, has become a great place for the best-handcrafted chocolate in Raleigh.I want to add that I tried a slice of Apple bourbon rum cake (I believe that's the name) from the Black White Coffee at Videri Chocolate Factory, and the cake was also very delicious. Adding Black White to my cafe lists."

Wow! Loved this place, awesome people and chocolate, and so much education! The staff was incredibly nice and I had dark chocolate that I liked for the first time! Loved this spot.

This place was quaint and so cute. Their chocolate...goodness. So so good. In fact, I ate 6 bonbons of their variety. Did I share? No. Do I feel bad? Also, no. Would I do it again? You bet. I am head over heels for that lemon thyme bonbon. *swoons

You can have a quick tour of their chocolate manufacturing process and understand the steps involved from getting pods to making chocolate. They provide samples of all the different varieties of chocolates they have. Loved the vesta, and the double shot sipping cup.

An interesting idea but leaves a bit to be desired. The chocolate factory tour is basically just a small hallway you walk down in the back with glass windows to see the equipment. The soft serve was very expensive for a TINY amount of it. This place isn’t something I would go out of my way for, and certainly wouldn’t recommend as a tourist stop. View menu

Videri is great, a community staple. Their chocolate is sold at many different local establishments. Towards the back of the store you can get a good look at where they make the chocolate. This was our first time getting the soft serve, which was amazing. We got this cute lil chocolate cowboy hat for rounding up our purchase to support the LGBTQ center.

Free samples. The food is incredibly delicious! They offer drinks, ice cream, chocolates, and various drink-related items for sale. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is that, despite purchasing a lot, we weren’t offered any samples. While we waited for our ice cream, other customers received samples. I would have liked to try different flavors, which might have encouraged me to buy more. I would definitely return, as they have a lovely outdoor seating area.

What good is a day without chocolate? Well not a very good one, I'd say. But if you're going to eat chocolate, then get it from Videri Chocolate Factory. Right in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, you can smell the factory before you even get there...that's a good sign. You can buy boxes, bars, or individuals. You can even take a tour of the Factory and see how they make their yummy confections. Take it to go or stay and have a cup of coffee while eating a flaky chocolate croissant, can't go wrong there. Great staff...yummy treats View menu

I visited this chocolate factory yesterday as part of my Mother's Day celebration. This was my first time visiting this factory. It seems to be quite popular as there were lines to buy chocolate as well as lines to buy coffee. It's a bit small inside, and it was crowded yesterday. The chocolate was rich and there were a variety of different tasty flavors. What I enjoyed most about this visit, however, was that they allow their customers to tour the actual chocolate factory. Although the factory workers were off during the weekend, it still gave me a good idea of what happens and equipment that is used.

Quality Chocolate is like fine wine and pairs well. Videri brings this unique experience of chocolate tasting to Downtown Raleigh. I enjoyed our visit this afternoon and intend on coming back. They offer free chocolate samples, a cute coffee bar, patio and ice cream !!!!!! Perfect for a cute date night. The service here was excellent. We sampled a few of the chocolate flavors sea salt, walnut, and a new personal favorite the Dark Milk crunch spicy vesta chocolate. Infused with habanero and scotch bonnet peppers ! I took this one home at $9. I donated my change to the local Women's Center where I have volunteered at in the past. I'm sure you're reading this, accustomed to buying chocolate for...

"Even though this restaurant is an hour away from our home, it 's been our special occasion go to restaurant for years. We 've brought our parents here and purchased gift cards for our friends. I love the selection of creative vegan entrees, relaxed art house atmosphere, and live music. We 've always received friendly service and enjoyed our food in the past. This evening, for the first time in my life (at any restaurant), I sent back an entree. I was nearly in tears because I feel so guilty about wasting food. The replacement dish I received was even worse--what was advertised as pad thai turned out to be mushy noodles drenched in what tasted like rice vinegar, hastily topped with carrots and green beans. My husband tasted it and his face said it all. His words were borderline inedible. We were disappointed with the food, but we understand that on a busy Saturday night, mishaps with food can occur. Between us we have 30 years ' experience working in restaurants and have been confronted with many situations like this ourselves. What happened next turned our disappointment to anger: a manager came to our table with check in hand, apologized coldly, and seemed to think that comping the two meals I couldn 't eat had been a magnanimous gesture. She did offer us dessert, which I guess was a nice thought but not a substitution for dinner. I 'm giving a second star because my husband said his short ribs were very good, as was the appetizer. All said, we 're out $70 and I still haven 't had dinner. Side note: we advise purchasing bottled options if you 're a beer drinker. My husband is a professional brewer by trade and every draft beer from here has been flat and displayed off flavors. He knows what these beers are supposed to taste like, and it seems to be an issue with the draft system. Also, our entrees appeared about 5 minutes after we ordered them, which doesn 't seem like enough time for making things to order. Since writing this, it 's come to our attention that these changes are likely due to new ownership of the restaurant. The lack of hospitality combined with the lower quality food is sure to alienate their most loyal patrons, including us."
