"The beef soup base was good, but the chicken was really hard and rubbery cannot chew. They charged me $4 for the extra chicken, in which I would never have ordered if I knew it was so inedible. However my main complaint is about the staff that was working in the kitchen coughing up a storm and the waiter. I had a question on my bill about the extra chicken it showed with my entree and again at the end on the bill. Was confused so I politely asked, but the guy started snarling and acted very rude rolling his eyes, waving his hands, and on top of all, kept screaming angrily at me, “go get your calculator and calculate yourself!! Go calculate yourself! Go!”I was startled by his rudeness. A simple and short “the first one was shown by mistake” or “the first one wasn’t charged” would be all that is necessary. However he chose the worst way of handling a simple customer inquiry.I understand you have a language barrier, but your rudeness was really unnecessary. The staff working in the kitchen should also not have been allowed to be near the food if they were coughing violently for a good majority of the time.If there is a negative 5 option, I would give it now. This is a restaurant I would never go again nor recommend to anyone else."

I give this place 5 star. The food was good. I was craving crispy noodles but they weren’t the traditional crispy noodles I was used to! They were still good!

First and last time ordering from this restaurant. We called in for a pick up order of Pho and spring rolls. The meat was frozen and prepackaged, soup was cold, and the pork in the spring rolls was dry. Only one table dining and they hadn't ordered yet. No excuse to receive food in that condition.

Two of the things I ordered off the vegetarian section of the menu were full of chicken. I do not eat chicken and had to throw the food out and not eat anything for dinner. They would not refund my order. Vegetarians, people, with allergies, or anyone that wants your order right beware of ordering from here.

Love, dear Pho. Viet’s restaurant at the North Academy. The location is hidden in the plain and I had overlooked this place for a few years. The Pho is served very fresh with a healthy portion, whatever protein is ordered. Many other places seem to have a Kamo-Protein appearance, but Viet gives beautiful portions. This is my new local favorite! View menu

The current 4.2/5 rating for this place makes no sense. I wasn't in Vietnam or anything to taste the most authentic food, but I always feel that I had good standards for Vietnamese food. This place raised my bar. I'm just visiting Colorado, but when I get back where I come from, I'll be a little sad that I know the best Vietnamese I had is far away.

My husband ordered a meatball bowl the server brought it out and it was chicken. We told him that’s not meatball, so he brought it back to the kitchen. He then brought it back out and said the cook said they are out of meatballs, so they cooked him that chicken instead. They didn’t came out to ask my husband what else would he like. The server just said the cook, cooked it for him. What kind of services is that. And you know, if you ask for something else you never know what they will do to your food when it comes back out! I’m just saying they should ask what alternatives food we would like to substitute it for!

*PAYERS BEWARE *Make sure you pay attention to what you ordered and the name because they will charge different items that could be more expensive and when you ask you still might not get the right items you order.I ordered two soups one large one small and the egg rolls and a lemonadevery simple yet on my bill those were not the items on there so I asked for my actual bill still didn’t get it so I go up to pay and he fixes it but I don’t leave a tip because I shouldnt have to ask multiple times for the correct bill and when we leave the owner yells at us from our car to ask about why we didn’t leave a tip and then when I explained why he just tells me okay hope you don’t come backNot how yo... I was not in another local Vietnamese restaurant that has the spirit and toughness to prepare a variety of traditional and ethical dishes. Although they are proud of themselves as a Vietnamese restaurant, I see many crossovers representing Southeast Asian cuisine. It takes someone who understands food preparation and appreciation of Asian foods to see why they not only offer what is simple and mainstream like many other Vietnamese restaurants you will find in the city. Eatery like Viets Restaurant, who are ambitious about their menu, has the skills, and courage to show their culinary are very rare in Colorado Springs. Food was delicious, service was attentive, menu I have already spoken a lo...

My family has ordered here a few times because the food is good. Unfortunately, the last time we ordered, the online system was down. When we went to pick up the order, we found it never went through (not the problem. It happens). When they did remake the order, they left off one of the entrees, though we were still charged for it (again, not really a problem, things happen). By the time we realized what had happened when we got home about 15 minutes later, the kitchen had been closed. The employee who answered the phone did not offer a refund for the entree we didn’t receive, but to comp the entree with our next order (fair). When we went back about a month later, the employee handling our...
