"The rice was tasty and they give free chips and salsa...those were pretty much the only good things. My husband got a burrito meal and I got a taco, enchilada, and burrito meal with rice and coleslaw. The burrito and enchilada were soaked in a sauce that's been in a can since the dark ages. They definitely don't make it home made. Their chicken soft taco tasted like something I could have gotten for a dollar at Taco Bell. And the tortilla of the burrito was really soggy and had the nastiest texture. Nothing about this food is authentic."

they have great food and overall great people. but every time I have a to go order I end up having something missing, and it's almost always my tortillas lol . not a big deal since I live in the same town but it's frustrating after it happens time and time again.

This is more of a sit-down Mexican restaurant, but we ordered 4 bean burritos to go on a road trip, and they were grilled, and they were DELICIOUS! The hostess was so nice, they even wrapped our burritos in foil so they'd be easier for us to eat in the car! What a great little place!

To make matters worse, I suspect the food came from Costco. I'm really upset about the way I was treated, especially the look she gave me. I will never set foot in this restaurant again. There were hardly any customers, and if I were the owner, I would take that as a serious warning. Furthermore, my son ordered chicken fajitas, which had barely any chicken in them, and his tacos looked like something you'd get from Taco Bell.

The Village Restaurant is an excellent dining spot. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is outstanding! I particularly love their cattle chase dish—it’s delightful! They offer generous portions, and everything is fresh, ensuring no one leaves hungry. The food is absolutely delicious! Without a doubt, it's the best Mexican restaurant in Boardman! Don't miss out—you'll enjoy every bite when you eat there! I’ve never had a bad meal! View menu

Traveling home from a trip to Montana and decided to spend the night in a motel about half way home, we were tired from driving all day and after checking into our room we decided to have dinner in the Mexican restaurant that was in the same building even though it didn't look real exciting. We were very pleased to get excellent, authentic Mexican food at a decent price. The waitress was very polite and helpful and checked on us often. We would definitely stop and eat here on our next trip through the area.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We waited an eternity for our nachos, and when they finally arrived, they were topped with nothing but melted cheddar cheese and what appeared to be overcooked, crumbly meat that resembled bark. The menu listed the nachos as costing either $12.95 or $13.95, but they tried to charge us $18.95. When my friend complained, the staff told us to leave. We will never return. The place was not busy, with only our table occupied, yet it took over an hour to get those disappointing nachos.
