Vineyards Wine Bar & Bistro

Amazing food and great flights of wine! There are so many wines to choose from and everything was fantastic. We will be back next time we visit Ottawa.

Restaurante muito bem localizado, cardápio variado, preço compatível, boa carta de vinhos. Atendimento muito bom. Comida ótima e bem servida. O ambiente tem mesas na rua e dentro, e o restaurante é bem amplo.

Ate there early June. Wine and beer list was pretty good but a little pricey even for Ottawa. The food was pretty good overall and the waitress was great. My steak and frites wasn't bad but really if it was in Europe I would have sent it back. View menu

Eat and drink here often but have never left a review and felt it was time to let every one know how incredible Jacky is! Her bartending skills are out of this world. She's charming, knows how to lay down the law when necessary and is just an all round pleasant and entertaining individual to be around. She is the heart of Vineyards! Food, other staff and atmosphere are excellent as well!

I had a wine tasting coupon through Groupon. Three of us each had three 3oz taster. The wine was nice, we started off with the wonderful bread and dippers they bring to the table. Next we ordered some appetizers and could not manage to eat a main course after. We had more bread and dippers. A band played in the corner, someone came around with samples of beer to our guests delight. Al in all was a fantastic evening and very well priced.

Great experience on this first time visit! Our reason for going was the live Jazz, which was great, but we were also very impressed with the food and service! We were seated immediately with our OpenTable reso and our server was welcoming and informative. The food we ordered was excellent. We also were very happy with the wine flights we ordered and had an additional litre of our favourite from the tasting! Would highly recommend this restaurant!!! View menu

We spent our last Ottawa evening in a cozy cellar! The atmosphere was relaxed and the live jazz only added to our experience. After a few minutes chatting about the choices in the Wine and Beer Book, I ordered the Down to Earth flight of wine and my hubby a flight of beer. No regrets! We started our dinner by sharing spicy crab cakes and then we both ordered the $14 French fries...served with sirloin steak and a Caesar salad. Again, no regrets. The wine flying is a set of 3 different glasses with different tastes. For someone who like the sweet taste, I would recommend the German white wine, very nice! But each glass has a little bit wine inside, so totally the whole flying set is similar to a full glass of wine. The cheese board has contains a crispy cheese topped with mango Chinese sausage, very delicious, and 2 types of salamis (3-5 slides for each), 2 pieces of pickles, few slides of hams and it cost $36. The experience was good but we had a rough start when we arrived at the restaurant. We were reserved a table that was close to the entrance door that is so tight and is not the most cozy area in this small place. Given the fact that we reserved a day ahead and when we asked for a better table, we were told that there were lots of ppl that reserved and it would be an hour of wait to get a better table. Seeing that we were not pleased by their choice of table and additional wait time, the guy at the bar offered to sit us in the bar and wait until a table is available.
