"This place is the complete package! The food, the service, and atmosphere...outstanding! My fiancé and I have walked past this place a handful of times when we were out in the center of town, but last night we made it official and stopped in for dinner. The staff was all so welcoming and gave us the option to sit wherever we would like. We opted for the counter, for the more interactive dinner conversation. I highly recommend it! Let 's talk food! The menu is awesome! The different offerings come from farms all around Connecticut. We started off with the pickled things which consisted of pickled kohlrabi, pickles, daikon, and ramps. SO GOOD! We did learn that Vintage is BYOB, which is great! Other libations offered in house are a variety of Hosmer Mountain sodas and freshly brewed ice tea. My fiancé and I each ordered a different burger. I went with the patty melt, which reminded me exactly of an old school patty melt from the first bite. We ended our meal with a dessert to go. The daily offering was a local farm 's homemade sweet cream ice cream topped with a fresh blueberry sauce and corn bread crumbles...INCREDIBLE! A perfect way end such a delicious meal. I love supporting local businesses and Vintage embraces its community both near and far. The staff and the owner alike were all so warm and genuinely cared about the overall experience of their customers. Absolutely a local gem!"

A few weeks ago, we enjoyed a fantastic three-course meal at this restaurant. The food was all delicious, unique, and made with fresh ingredients. It was a truly enjoyable experience and we can't wait to dine here again soon!

After visiting CT's finest Fox farm finished a great day with a wonderful meal at this small restaurant on Main St. Delicious bone marrow appetiser then the mains of different burgers and gnocchi were all excellent. We will be back.

I can NOT rave more about this place. They source locally, presentation is amazing and food- mouthwatering. Plates ARE SMALL but that is noted on the menu (tapas style , not the cheapest but totally worth the money if you love good local fresh food : View menu

Delicious. Go! So tasty and satisfying, at first I thought my plate was small but no. My husband had the best chicken of his life. The chef is so nice and it’s fun to watch him work from the bar seats. The staff were so helpful and nice. Loved it. It’s byob, and menu is small but super fresh

Vintage is great. Prices are more than fair considering it is all locally sourced, farm to table, fresh ingredients. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Started with a sort of fried rice cake that was soft and crunchy in all the right ways. My Beef Rib was so tender that the steak knife served with it went entirely unused. Paired with the creamiest scalloped potatoes I've ever eaten this meal was truly a treat. My partner had Ricotta gnocchi that was also unbelievably good. We will definitely be back to clean our plates once again.

This is what you get when a creative chef opens a restaurant concept around fresh and local ingredients.. the menu changes with product availability but it's always top quality no matter the time of the year. I saw the nasty review on here about them not having tomatoes, personally I love this. If you can't get them locally and local is your concept you shouldn't be serving them. Most other restaurants offer stuff year round because their concept isn't locally driven, you can always go eat there and get the same meal year round. Our food was excellent, fresh ingredients and perfect flavors. We will be back again soon. Side note, they are very gluten free friendly and the menu ranges in price... View menu

What a great spot ! Had it bookmarked and was checking out a brewery down the road so decided to try and get it with no reservation. Luckily, it was early and there were two sears at the bar I love watching people cook. They serve on old dishes and the fact that they use real napkins sustainable. Didn't have an appetizer hubby had a burger with Cato farmstead cheese and I had two tacos the pork and the brisket. Couldn't decide between two cheese so they provided us a taste of each to help us choose. While everything was awesome, my favorite was the brisket taco. The desserts change based on what is fresh hubby and I shared a tasty macerated strawberries over ice cream dish perfect size to sh...

First of all, let me just start this out by saying if you haven't been, you are seriously missing out! The staff is amazing. The owner and his wife Alicia took such awesome care of us I felt like I was family. The menu changes daily based on availability of locally sourced products, so don't expect to order what I had. This was my third time there and all three times the food was exceptional. We started with a roasted beet and carrot salad, and then had an andouille sausage corn cake. Both out of this world. The entrees for that evening were primarily seafood which I'm not a fan of, so I did a couple apps for dinner. I had a Gnocci Bolognese and a beef and broccoli. The beef was perfectly se...

"The overall atmosphere is a little odd, it was nicely decorated but otherwise practically silent. However the staff were friendly. The atmosphere wasn’t our issue tho cause the food is the biggest part. The price wasn’t horrible for how much we got, but the quality wasn’t amazing. The lobster roll was the winner of everything, I wouldn’t say it’s the best in the world but compared to the rest of the food it was pretty good and for the price not too too bad. The crab cakes tasted like the stuffing to us and were very soft in texture, with little to no flavor of crab. One was fried lightly and the other was way darker in color. We would not recommend the crab cakes. The coleslaw wasn’t bad but it was quite sweet and had lots of liquid, flavor wise wasn’t bad just very sweet. We also got the shrimp roll, which was the biggest disappointment to us, it was fried shrimp in a roll. When we think of a shrimp roll we think of cooked shrimp in mayo with maybe some herbs in the roll. This was fried shrimp like what you’d get in a captains platter with cocktail sauce. The shrimp just didn’t have much seasoning unfortunately. And lastly we got the clam chowder, it wasn’t bad either however it was a bit over salted and that made it hard to eat without stopping for a drink. Overall I would say our experience was very disappointing and we unfortunately would not go again. I think the only time we would is if we really were craving a lobster roll and don’t want to spend lots of money on one.But otherwise we won’t be back."
