"If you are reading these reviews you will notice that the owners nor the management answer any of the reviews. Which tells me they don't care. We came to the Riverview Restaurant on Sunday August 4th. I love catfish. We saw this place on Talk of the Town Miss Cheap segment. I ordered the 2 piece catfish dinner. Others at our table ordered different things. When our food came out some of our food like okra was overcooked and dry. I took a bite of my catfish and it was dry with the consistency of chicken meat. Good catfish should be tender, flakey and moist. It was horrible along with the okra. Very overcooked. The green beans were canned with zero seasoning. All our hush puppies were burnt. The only thing that was wonderful about coming here was our server Anastasia. She was awesome as well as the view. There are so many better catfish restaurants than this. Highly disappointed. We don't recommend any food here. None of us liked our meal. A. L. J. L. S. W D. W."

"Always out of what you order. Long wait for response to place order even even they seem to not be that busy. Last 3 visits and results last 2 visit didn't even order ended up just leaving. 1st time didn't have ice or the food to make what I asked for. 2nd time ice cream machine didn't work 90 degrees out side a cold drink or a shake is the only reason to go to sonic cause the food is never that great... "Chicken sandwich jewelry! My recommendation. Late Saturday morning it was like a ghost town inside. By customer. I really like that! Your breakfast is also the bomb! It just went back. Biscuits and Gravy and this Pokchop!.yum! Nice staff. I think the mural with river and boat is beautiful."

"Have ordered from this location several times, and every time there is something wrong with the order. I had a free pizza due to the last mess up so I thought I would give it one more shot. Placed my order and waited for an hour. I looked online and found that my order had been delivered half an hour earlier...no one rang the doorbell, just sat it on a chair and left. When I get the order in, i notice that I am missing items. I call the store and I was rudely asked "what am I supposed to do about it? I asked for the items to be delivered and was told that they are too busy to deliver the missing items. Then I was told they could in store credit me for the amount but I would need to call to place the order next time to get the credit. I explained that I dont want credit, i want the items delivered. The person said that was fine. Needless to say, the store has closed and in the 4 hours after my call, the items were not delivered. Horrible customer service for mediocre food when you even get it. It is definitely my last purchase."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. As soon as you walk through the French doors, you're greeted by a stunning mural of a man on horseback in the hills of Mexico. The booths are cozy, and the service is prompt. We started with the fresh guacamole, which came with perfectly crispy chips. For our main dish, we ordered Chicken Flautas, which were quite good and included chicken, onions, tomatoes, and peppers. Typically, this dish has just shredded chicken, so I plan to request extra chicken next time, but it was still very flavorful. The beans and rice were exceptional as well. The coffee was so delicious that I can easily imagine myself coming here in the morning for a cup along with some Pan Dulce! Just a thought. We will definitely be coming back!"
