"The service at this restaurant is extremely slow. We waited for an hour to receive slightly warm, not hot, food that wasn't fresh. It was not worth the wait and I will not be returning. There were many people waiting by the door and I wanted to express that it was not worth waiting for. The wait staff tried their best and kept my coffee topped up, but it seems like the issue lies with the kitchen. They need a good manager, as well as hiring signs and higher standards. Additionally, the ketchup bottle at our table was empty. In terms of kid-friendliness, there were a lot of people with children in high chairs."

Our waitress was very attentive, the omelette was spectacular, it was an easy 4 inches high, fluffy! The atmosphere was very laid back. I will be going there again, since I've got family there now.

Great place to get good food. And it's clean too. Just don't get in a hurry , they are always busy. I recommend this place to everyone! Parking: Parking is limited, and it's one way around building so be careful when you drive around looking for a place to park ! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch

The food was decent, but the restaurant was quite noisy, making it hard to hold a conversation with my dining companion. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing during our second visit. This place mainly serves breakfast, with prices typically ranging from $30 to $50 per person. The scrambled eggs, waffle, and egg patty with hash browns were suggested as standout dishes. I would rate the atmosphere a 2 out of 5. On a positive note, there’s ample free parking available in the lot.

During our drive back from a multi-state road trip, we decided to make a stop at this cozy diner-style restaurant that specializes in serving delicious waffles and breakfast dishes. The highlight of our visit was definitely Inez, our exceptional and hospitable server. She went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Although we may not pass through DeRidder again in the future, we will always cherish the fond memories we made at the Waffle Shoppe. Service: Dine in.
