"Lovely service, lovely food, lovely atmosphere! Their waffles are a perfect crispy texture on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. My boyfriend orders this every time. Their house iced coffee was the perfect option for my sweet tooth, as I had a more salty breakfast. Their hash browns are nice and crispy, I was very happy about this- I always hate when I have soggy potatoes. I love the flavor of their sausages, and their bacon is thick! The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because of the parking situation. They have a tiny lot that's hard to maneuver, and the street parking is often hard to find. In addition to this, there's always a bit of a wait so once you've walked all the way from your car, and you really don't want to walk back, you have to find some place to loiter. I'd definitely say it was worth the wait, and there are shaded areas to wait in! Overall I recommend!"

Def a good spot to visit if you are going to universal studios. Arrived early and didn't have a wait time. The service was great and food was amazing. First had their French toast and came back the next day and got the waffle which also didn't disappoint!

It gets packed! But we got here at the perfect time today (around 10am) and only waited about 8 minutes for a table inside which was just enough time to go around the corner to take a pick by their super cute waffle mural. Food was excellent and waffles are AMAZING!

I visited this restaurant for the first time, coming all the way from Chicago. I thoroughly enjoyed the waffles, which were light and spongy. The Cajun chicken was tasty, but could have used a bit more spice. The buttermilk chicken wings were crispy and delicious. The service was excellent. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant was delicious! Every dish we ordered was excellent. I tried Fatima's iced coffee, which tasted like s'mores in a cup with coffee. We also ordered the berries and waffles, and the kids waffles for our baby, which came with a side of one egg and one sausage. My husband ordered the cheeseburger waffle, which was packed with flavor. View menu

Great neighborhood breakfast restaurant! Situated five minutes from Universal Studios it's a great choice for a homemade style breakfast for locals and travellers as well, especially if you're tired of hotel and fast food breakfasts. They have an extensive menu of waffles, chicken and waffles, lots of topping options and traditional breakfast items. The kids ate it all and enjoyed the secret lemonade. Coffee was great too. Best of all, the service was super friendly and on the spot, best service we had in a week of eating out. We have plans to return next time we are back in the area.

There was a short wait upon arrival , parking can be found on the street but they do have a small parking lot. Cozy small restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining options available. My waitress was really nice. I ordered chicken and waffles with iced coffee. The waffle was great , chicken was good, coffee was fine. I thought when ordering waffles and “wings” that I’d get chicken wings, but instead I got party wings. I wish the batter on the chicken was thoroughly fried. The inside was good, but something with the skin was pasty a little. I’d check this spot out again. Overall everything was good.

THEY can cook a good steak, most of the time very rare from an average price Los Angeles wafer house!!! Excellent both times I was here!!! Great in the morning and early afternoon. A hop jump and a jump from Universal Studios. Waffles remind me of Christmas as a child!!! Can't say enough good things about it! The staff was excellent and very attentive, also available indoor and outdoor. Open from 6 am to 3 pm *Update have eaten here over a dozen times, fairly consistent and quality is mostly there every time. Pretty decent, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very recommended. Usually filled, reservations recommended especially on weekends. View menu

This was by far the best food I've had in a very long time. Let me preface by say I very rarely eat meat. When I came into Waffles today something told me to get something with meat. I ordered the crispy Jalepeno burger, while my family ordered the cajun chicken and waffle sandwich, the steak sandwich, a strawberry and Nutella waffle combo with eggs and bacon. When I tell you that was the best burger I have had in my life, it is no lie. It was crispy with a wonderful flavour to the meat and so delicious. The cajun chicken and waffle was also exceptional with the best Waffles I've ever had. Our waitress Aileen was just as if not more so exceptional than the food. She was very kind with good r...

"Easily my favorite bakery in LA!!! Being French, I feel like it's so hard to find good authentic French bakeries but Lou sets the bar soooooo high! No other bakeries have topped Lou's. The croissants are *chef's kiss*, they're flaky, buttery and taste delicious EVERY TIME! I also like their chocolate bread (pain au chocolat) and eclairs, though the eclairs are much sweeter so if you're into that, definitely give them a try! I really love how they are consistent with their pastries. There was never a time when I was disappointed. Now keep in mind they get very busy on the weekend, the wait can be long like 20 mins, especially if you order sandwiches (which by the way, are delicious too and worth it!!! I tried the chicken and turkey sandwiches and would highly recommend them). I think they run out of baguettes after 1pm or even sooner sometimes so if you want baguettes or sandwiches, definitely show up earlier. Even their drinks are so good, I always get their vanilla latte and once again, it tastes delicious e-ve-ry single time! Wanna know another thing I love about this place? The service! Every time we ordered sandwiches and the wait was long, they'd give us a heads up before finalizing our order in case we wanted to skip the sandwiches. One time, there was a mixup which resulted in us getting our sandwiches later than expected so to apologize for the wait, they offered us a croissant * * You will also often see Lou, the chef and owner, walk around and say hi to his customers. He may even sit with them and chat for a few minutes. He seems to know a lot of people in the neighborhood and that's actually how it is in France. Bakeries are in every corner and we love our bakers! Anyway I know this is now a super long review but I only have amazing things to say about this place, their food, the chef and the staff. I just wish they'd open every day"

"Deja Vu Cakes is a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious treat. This family-owned bakery is run by a husband and wife who bake everything on-site, and their commitment to using only all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives is admirable.I visited this bakery on St. Patrick's Day, my experience was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was very friendly and hospitable, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. They had a fantastic selection of seasonal cupcakes displayed top-level of the display case that are beautifully decorated and a sight to behold which included the St. Patrick's Day cupcake with a gold coin on top. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was a red velvet cake, colored green, and topped with a gold chocolate coin. The frosting was creamy and rich, and our daughter loved it.The Bailey's cupcakes had some alcohol in them, and they were a real treat. The frosting was creamy and rich, and the cupcakes were moist and flavorful. We enjoyed every bite. The bakery's prices are also reasonable, ranging from 4-5 dollars per item. The shop itself is cute and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly and hospitable staff that makes the entire experience even more enjoyable.Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Deja Vu Cakes and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and friendly bakery.I highly recommend Deja Vu Cakes for their excellent customer service, quality cupcakes, and commitment to using all-natural ingredients. If you're looking for a delicious and welcoming bakery, this is the place to go."
