"My friends and I visited on a Monday night and it was actually quite busy. The bartender said typically there are only about 4 people or so in a Monday, but it was a packed house. Due to the unusually high amount of patrons, the service was quite slow. They had 9 beers on their tap list from local breweries, one of them being their own. I'm not a huge beer drinker, so nothing they had tickled my fancy. I did however get a delicious panini for dinner. It was called The Homestead; it had bacon, cheddar, and bacon jam with everything bagel seasoning sprinkled on the outside. It came with chips (I upgraded to pickled pepper tuna mac) and pickled vegetables. The sandwich was delightful. The tuna mac was very good too... The pickled peppers took away from there being a huge mayonnaise flavor, which was great as I'm not a huge mayo fan. I saved the pickled vegetables for last... Sadly, they were a bit of a disappointment to me because they were sweet like bread butter pickles... I like them vinegary with no sweetness. They have breakfast on the weekends with quite a large list of coffees/teas available. I plan to go back for breakfast and post an update."

My 2 friends and I discovered this wonderful place when we were sipping our way along the Niagara Wine Trail. It was the perfect place for a relaxing lunch. We all had the Homestead which was superb! My one friend loved her Beermosa and we found the little side of pickled veggies surprisingly tasty especially the green beans. There is also a wide selection of ciders and cute shirts. Angela waited on us and was super friendly and made great suggestions. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

My friends and I had an amazing time at Wandering Gypsy. The owners Bob and Jen are incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. No matter how busy things got, they always managed to greet each customer that walked in. They have a wide variety of beer on tap, including the brewery's own Kolsch. If you don't like beer, they also have wine, ciders, and a full coffee bar that rivals any coffee shop. We had the banana bread latte and the dirty chai, both excellent. Although the beer was great, the highlight of the day was the Homestead sandwich. It's a must get. If you're looking for an unassuming place to hang out with some drinks, I highly recommend stopping by.

"We were recommended to try this place from the lady we were renting from for the weekend about 15 minutes away so we decided to try. We went after 11 so we could have either breakfast or lunch as they are only open from 7 to 2 p.m. The food was amazing I had the greek wrap with apple sauce and home made chips and my husband had the chicken salad plate with greek salad. Both items were delicious and very very filling and the pricing is so reasonable !!!!! Our server however was not the best, middle aged woman blonde bob kinda kinky hair and glasses. She sat us took our drink order got our drinks then she disappeared .......I could see her standing up by the kitchen doing nothing just standing there, then she made coffee. In the mean time 3 more tables came in 2 two tops and a family of 8, the other servers had their drinks delivered and their orders taken before our server came back to take our order. When she did get back to our table she said sorry for delay I thought my to go order was almost ready.............REALLY a to go order trumps someone who is seated in the restaurant ??? After she took our order then she was attentive, asked how food was, asked if wanted more drinks etc, but by then the first impression was blown. I am a server myself with high end clients and when you ignore a table for too long it's frustrating and blows the 20% tip you should be making. We did tip her but only 15% because she blew it when she let us sit for so long waiting for her to go order. If you do try this place there is a very pretty girl with long dark hair who ran circles around EVERY single server in the place ask for her you won't be disappointed !!!! However the food was delicious and filling for a very good price. Cute place inside, I just thought it was kind of weird how we had to wait in hallway to be seated, unless they are short servers and only want so many tables at a time so they aren't over loaded. The hallway was quite warm but it was worth the wait once we got inside. When we went to check out the lady at the register was very friendly asked how everything was and asked us to come again, was 90% great experience for never being here. I would have given 5 stars had we had a better server from the start."
