"I tried this place for lunch for the first time today. Such a sweet atmosphere! Nice real fireplace, very friendly staff. We sat fast and our waitress came to our table right away. The food was fantastic, I ordered the mushroom Swiss burgers and they use real mushrooms, not skillful. The manager came to our table to ask us about our experience and he was so attentive, explain menu items and breakfast options. We told him it was our first time at Washington Square and he offered to buy dessert, which was a very pleasant surprise! A great small place to eat, with friendly staff and homemade dishes. The terrace looks brilliant for the warmer months and there is a wide choice of wine and beer to choose. We will definitely come back!"
