"Great service (Brandon) at the bar gave me the Intel on all my options (as I am vegan) over all really good food amazing service. Will most definitely be coming back each and every time I?m around. Really hard to find vegan options at San Manuel but the cauliflower steak was incredible ! Great combinations, full of flavor I really enjoyed it along with the roasted nuts to start of. The steak pairs amazingly with the pomegranate rye rumble (a drink he suggested) . To end the night I was craving something sweet and asked him about any vegan options for dessert and he suggested the berry sorbet which did not disappoint at all. Simply the best i've had! I find most restaurants along with most ice cream parlors offer really sweet sorbets I usually take one bite and cannot eat anymore since the sugar overpowers the flavoring, but this one was simply perfect taste reminds me to the sorbet sold in Italy. Cant wait to come back!"

"I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before."

"Only speaking as someone who ordered out, I did not sit in and experience the atmosphere. But I do have to say it was hard to communicate my needs to the server and owner, but if you know what you like im sure it will be OK for you, it was my first time. My main concern besides that is the menu online, I went in there thinking, based on the price online that is what I would be paying of course, tax an all. But for me it felt like a big difference. I choose to pick up my food based on that price and of course tip. But I choose not too, because of the resulting price when I got there. The food is good I gave a 3 because of the service and for me the communication. I can't review further than that. Hope this helps..."

"I wonder if there's new management, but this last visit of our favorite sushi place has left a different impression than the many previous times. Dinner AYCE has increased its price to 35 dollars a person with absolutely no menu changes and the rice to fish portions were ridiculous. We've never had a problem with the rice to fish ratio, but that's what makes me think maybe there's new management. There was so much rice with the sushi pieces that you couldn't effectively pick up the pieces without them falling apart. More rice than there was fish, it was just really bad. We're going to try again but if this is a new pattern this won't our go to place and I wouldn't be able to recommend this place in good faith. The new updated price and the over use of rice makes it very much not worth it. 4 stars, closer to a 3 than a 5."
