"This place is MAGIC!!!! IT'S REAL FOOD!!!!! It's not fancy... but the service is friendly and welcoming and the food is made with LOVE!!!! This was exactly the home cooked meal we craved tonight! "The Babcock House far exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The owners and staff were welcoming and tended to our every need, which was not much because they had already thought of everything! The room, bed, sheets (so soft! were comfortable, clean and spacious. Coffee/tea available 24/7 both upstairs and downstairs. We loved having a patio and porch to sit on with morning coffee and afternoon glass of wine. Wine and beer was available to purchase so we didn't need to go out or bring any in. Breakfast was amazing with fresh strawberries from their garden and a full hearty plate of eggs, sausage, home fries and toast. French press coffee at each table! The restaurant was amazing! When traveling, we never eat at the same place twice because we like to try local restaurants, but the food was so good the first night and so many excellent choices that we ate there both nights! We travel on motorcycles and after a long day of sightseeing we definitely appreciated not having to go out again. We will definitely go back again since we live only about 3 hours away and there are still so many items on the menu we haven't tried!"

"The restaurant had a good selection of books, though I was only able to look at a few because the upstairs area was closed. The prices were quite high, with many books costing the same as brand new ones. I also encountered a rude customer who acted like he worked there; he unnecessarily pointed out that the upstairs was closed at 3 PM, which I would have noticed from the sign. I don’t like that the upstairs portion closes so early. The staff was inattentive, which was disappointing as I was excited to visit after finishing some schoolwork. On the positive side, I’m pleased with the books I found, even though they were a bit pricey."

"I really enjoy getting takeout from this place. My favorite dish is the pollo tropical. The portion sizes and quality of the food are excellent for the price, and it always satisfies my hunger. I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for carryout, even when I place my order during the dinner rush. Service: Takeout."

"Me and my fiancée went here a few weeks back for lunch. When we arrived there was a small, hairy, man about 2 '5 dressed in small purple and green robes with a brilliant wizards hat adorned with yellow stars all over standing at the entrance. When i went to the door i asked if he would please move aside to which he responded that he would only move aside if i answered his riddles three. Puzzled i agreed to this battle of wit if only to allow us passage into the sacred restaurant. His first question was have i accepted christ as my lord and savior to which i responded that i havent. A smile crept out of his wrinkled face as he produced a pamphlet in his hands eagerly handing it to me. He began talking on and on about how important it was that i accepted him as soon as possible, However, as i skimmed the pamphlet i noticed something more sinester at play. This was no ordinary missionary eager to spread the word of god. It was a Jehovah 's Witness. As soon as i realized this i ran as fast as i could back to my car with my fiancee in tow. The small man yelled for us to come back as he still had two riddles for us. I was able to resist the urge to go back and luckily got away. I wasnt able to actually eat here but that food sure did smell nice."
