My breakfast was delicious! People were friendly and the environment is comfortable and clean.

The restaurant has a charming small-town diner atmosphere, delicious food, and welcoming staff.

I love this place. The service is fantastic, and the food is terrific. The town of McCloud is beautiful. Stayed at McCloud Mercantile Hotel. The rooms are spotless, spacious, and the decor in the rooms fit the rooms personality.

During our time in the area, we decided to visit this delightful little café. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff truly are friendly. We ordered the sausage skillet and the chicken fried steak with gravy and biscuits. Both dishes were delicious and fulfilling. It's an excellent place for a comforting meal! View menu

This family restaurant is one of my new favs in the North state! They cook nearly everything from scratch, went above and beyond to bring my family ALL the homemade dipping sauces we could want and they share my passion for fry sauce! Attic circle makes some of the best fry sauce but I’d say this restaurant has better ? Don’t pass this spot up. And ask about their specials for the day! Also, don’t listen to people reviews about having vegetarian options. Get a life, eat a cow!

We visited on a quite warm July day after exploring the McCloud River Middle Falls, which I highly recommend. We were in search of a peaceful, cozy, and welcoming place to dine, and we were thrilled to have stopped here! The service was exceptional, with that friendly, small-town charm that’s hard to come by these days. The food was fantastic, especially the homemade pulled pork sandwich—so delicious! Even the basic burger was amazing, reminiscent of old-school flavors and not the commercial kind, if you catch my drift. And the fresh, hand-battered onion rings were fabulous! We can’t wait to return and try more items from their menu.

This place is friendly, welcoming and serves great food at a good price. The previous one star review kinda scared me as my wife and I are not white (Asian) and from the city (Sacramento). We gave this place a shot for bunch regardless. Could not have been treated and served better. Plus the breakfast was delicious, home made biscuits, chicken fried steak and sausage. The interior vibe of the restaurant is also very 1920s yet it was well managed and not falling apart, so we had a great time. My guess is that if you're willing to embrace things as they are (a diner in a small historic town) and not complain about vegan/gluten free options/ et cetera then you won't have to find fake reasons an...
