"I ordered the Whitman’s Classic Burger, which features a beef short rib blend patty, seared onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and special sauce on a potato bun. It was a really good burger, and you could definitely taste the quality of the meat. The pickles were a standout for me—packed with amazing flavor and a great crunch. The special sauce added a nice kick to the overall taste. The ingredient ratios were spot on, and the bun remained intact without becoming soggy. However, the fries were a bit underwhelming. They could have used more seasoning and had a thick outer crust with less potato inside than I would have liked (as shown in the picture). Overall, though, I would highly recommend checking this place out!"

Whitman's Hudson Yards is significantly larger than the East Village location. It has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. The burgers are fantastic; however, they do not come with fries. View menu

The service at this restaurant is outstanding, and the food is delicious. However, I did find that the grilled chicken in the chicken club was a bit dry and would benefit from some extra sauce to enhance its flavor. Additionally, while the kale had a fantastic taste, it was somewhat too salty for my liking.

The food we received was cold, undercooked, and soggy. The cheese on the grilled cheese sandwich wasn’t melted, the bread was hardly toasted, the chips were stale, the fries were cold and soggy, and the tater tots were significantly undercooked. Additionally, the burger was missing the green chili. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place for takeout.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while walking by and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Juicy Lucy burger, which features a beef short rib blend stuffed with pimento cheese, along with caramelized onions, Bibb lettuce, tomato, spicy pickles, and sauce, all served on a sesame bun. I also had a Little Wolf Pale Ale. Everything was quite delicious! My only complaint is that they don’t include their drink and beer options on the menu they provide. View menu

Whitmans is a solid choice for burger enthusiasts. I dined there two weeks ago and tried their blue cheese burger, accompanied by a soda, and it was quite enjoyable. The only minor drawback was that the burger was a bit challenging to keep together due to the sauce and the size of the patty, but the taste compensated for it. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was decent. I'd recommend Whitmans if you find yourself in the area, though there are certainly other great options to consider as well. It's a good spot overall.

A real hidden gem in NYC! One of the best fried pickle dishes that I've had in the city. Highly recommend getting those for a starter. They are light and almost remind you of a light batter of a fried calamari, not a cheap overly fried dough. The burgers came out fast, and were just as excellent. I think the juicy lucy was the best on the menu.. The sesame seed bun was a game changer... All of this for a relatively inexpensive burger in NYC, in Hudson Yards?!?! Sign me up. I'll be coming back to keep trying every burger they got.
