"I had the Geisha Roll here. This was good sushi. It was rolled well with the right amount of filling, the seafood was fresh, and the flavours were nice. The prices could have been out of any good sushi restaurant; they weren’t cheap but weren’t the exorbitant airport prices I was expecting (my roll was 21). I guess in the “real world” I might take off a star for but I’ll let it slide in the airport. The roll was the standard size for a special 8 piece roll. My waitress was also very nice, attentive but patient when I needed an extra minute to decide what to order. My food and seemingly others’ food came out reasonably quickly they weren’t too busy but definitely not dead."

The best spot for dinner at ORD. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Food: 5/5.

The rolls and sashimi were absolutely delicious! I'm really glad we arrived early to enjoy this fantastic restaurant. Food: 5/5

The food was very disappointing. The fish I received was far from fresh; it looked gray and dehydrated on my plate, and its flavor was just as lacking. Sigh. Food: 1/5

Sushi was just okay. Considering that the rolls were $20 each, you would hope the quality would be slightly better. Sushi tasted fresh but one of the Summer Rainbow was incredibly sour. Wouldn’t recommend ordering sushi from here. View menu

Normally I wouldn't recommend sushi in an airport. I have walked by this place at least 500 times. But this was a great choice. Very fresh, made right there by the sushi chef, decent selection, and very tasty. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5

The server, Mariyana, took a long time to bring my husband’s solo order, despite the diner being nearly empty. I’m giving two stars because he mentioned the sashimi was surprisingly good for airport food. That said, they definitely need a new server! Food: 4/5. View menu

I visited this restaurant during a layover and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi for an airport. It's definitely a much better alternative to fast food and other dining options available in the terminal. The eel and prawn roll I ordered was quite good, especially after a long flight. I'm glad I decided to try this place out, and I appreciated that the menu and payment were all handled conveniently through my phone. Food rating: 5/5.

This is a reliable option for an airport restaurant. O'Hare International Airport has limited quality dining choices, mostly consisting of fast food or bar snacks. Wicker Park offers made-to-order sushi and decent drinks. I had a sushi roll and some nigiri, both of which were quite good. The service was a bit slow, but they were busy when I visited. It's a spacious venue, so there is usually seating available. Expect the typical high prices you'd find at airports.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
