"I will have to give a low rating. I came here once before with a BIG group for a birthday. It was a great experience. I picked to come here to celebrate Valentine 's Day! I made a reservation on their website for 3:00 p.m. for bottomless brunch. I got there a few minutes early. The manager was looking up my reservation and said "Is my last name (he said it) or something like that? He seated us in the corner by the wine which was fine. I noticed the dinner and valentine 's day menu. I told the nice server, I made a reservation for brunch and she said the last seating was at 2pm? How, if I made a reservation at 3:00 and received a confirmation? I asked her for a few minutes to decide what we wanted to do. She came back and asked if we are staying. She did not come back and it was already a bad experience. We decided to leave. I spoke to the manager and said him I made this reservation a while ago. I said it gave the option for a 3pm brunch. He said the chef decided to shut the brunch down early. I said okay things happen, I get it. You know I had a reservation and what type. I said a call would have been nice. He apologized and said if it gets busy, than they switch to dinner. The manager could have managed it better and offered me something instead of letting me walk out. He said if I made reservation on the restuarant website, yes and I said it needs to be updated."

Gage is simply the best! He added happy birthday to my dessert without being asked.

Cozy and fun. What a great concept for brunch. TAPAS. I love the size and presentation of all of the Prime Rib brunch choices. There is an international touch to the menu that is unique and fun to explore. I would definitely come back. View menu

Relaxed atmospheres delicious food that keeps coming out until you are full and you have over 20 items to choose, along with bottomless mimosa. Service is polite and helpful, always with a smile. Reservations are a must, this is not a walk-in resturant.

My husband and I are new to the area some friends got us a gift card to Wilcom’s Inn, so we decided to try their brunch… and we were NOT disappointed! The food, selection, portions, price, and service (I believe his name was Brian) completely exceeded our expectations. What a hidden little gem! We will 100% be back. I will say, the parking/parking lot was a bit of a turn off at first but we forgot all about that after our wonderful experience!

After waiting 20 minutes for the small portion of crab cakes that never came, we concluded that they were intentionally delaying service to limit what customers could eat. Given that crab is quite expensive these days, it shouldn't be offered on the menu if they can't fulfill orders. It's disappointing because we genuinely want to support local businesses. After spending over $200, including an obligatory 20% tip, and receiving only a few items that were overly salty, I don't think we'll be back. View menu

this place visited 'prior establishment' (75/80 rest days? in the younger years it was great to come back decades later to enjoy a really fine final dish. steak and cake (cream was my main choice and the portions were great. a certain flavor that they used was simply enough and not too powerful to add a unique element both to the crab cake and the steak. green beans were well sauted with a large mix of tweezers and garlic taste. they were sworn. from me. are they looking forward to another date or even to our older, seasoned children?

We came on a Thursday for a date night. When we arrived the bar side was full and there were only a few tables left available when we sat down. Fidias did a wonderful job on recommending the Sauv Blanc from Quivara. We started with ceviche, which was a generous portion of squid, shrimp, and tilapia. For our mains we hat the steak and crab cake and Peruvian fish with yucca fries. Both were heft portions and very affordable. We finished off the night with there signature tres leches cake. We are looking forward to returning again another night.

"tl;dr You 'll get way better service at Olive Garden, better steak at Outback, and get more respect from people working at the DMV (and I 'm sorry if that offends DMV workers). Forgoing not getting seated until almost 30 minutes AFTER our reservation time, The Derby is disappointing in the only two areas an institution like this should matter food and service. Food: I 'll keep this quick ish, the food is not good. The ribeye I ordered was cooked nicely for medium rare, good sear and perfect doneness, but the quality of the meat itself was subpar. The particular piece of meat was mostly dorsi/eye and had no spinalis/cap. To add, the dorsi/eye was tough and dry like a cheap strip steak or chuck steak. Does this matter for a $20 steak? No! Does this matter when the price tag is pushing $60 $70+? 100% it does when I can buy Prime ribeyes locally for $35/lb and cook it just as well and actually eat it hot. When polled, the rest of the table thought the food was okay at best. $20for shrimp cocktail with 3 average sized shrimp? French onion soup with burnt and hard cheese? Soggy steak fries? These are steakhouse staples that should be slam dunks for any restaurant. Service: While we were never told the name of our waitress, I can use older Yelp reviews to deduct her name was probably Barbara, an older woman with short white hair. She didn 't greet our table until almost 20 minutes after we sat down. By that point we didn 't even know she was our waiter and she made some rather rude and off putting jokes while taking our drink order. To add insult to injury, she took orders from other tables that were seated way way after ours. We saw them getting their food before we even ordered!! Throughout the exhausting night our waitress rarely, if ever, checked in on us. Our table had to flag other waiters down for water refills, to ask when our food was coming out, etc, all while Barbara was off socializing with other customers, exchanging photos on their phones, and taking shots at the bar yep... The food was delivered to our tables some 40+ minutes after getting our appetizers, not after ordering, 40 minutes AFTER getting our appetizers, with luke warm steaks, soggy fries, and the plates basically thrown at us with disregard. Coincidentally, the food came right out we pressed our waitress for an ETA read between the lines here, she forgot and/or didn 't advocate for us to the back of house. The final straw was when our waitress disappeared again and we flagged another waiter down to get our check and desserts to go (it had been over two hours at this point). When our waitress did come by, completely oblivious to us wanting to leave, she sternly said, no, you can only tell me what you need. Truth be told, which we echoed to her as well, we wouldn 't have had to tell someone else if she actually came by our table instead of drinking with other patrons on an empty night. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk don 't come here."

"From my experiences in the Midwest and the South, I know that BBQ restaurants that truly understand what their customers want typically offer a variety of combination plates to showcase their cooking skills and entice customers to return for their favorites. This place seems unaware of that, or perhaps lacks proper BBQ expertise, as they don't even offer brisket, pulled pork, or pulled chicken. What they do have is woefully lacking in variety, especially for the prices they charge. Want two meats without opting for the cheapest cuts? Here, that will cost you $40 or more... that's disappointing. As a non-restaurant owner, it's hard to say why BBQ is so pricey in California, but this establishment is no exception. The cheapest combo available is $25, which includes chicken and a sausage link—what a shame. As a first-time customer, I approached cautiously, skeptical of places that look good but lack the smoky aroma of BBQ. I ordered the Big D’s combo, which consisted of half a smoked chicken and a smoked sausage link in spicy sauce, accompanied by mac and cheese and steamed vegetables. What a total disappointment! The chicken was dry in some areas and undercooked in others. Although the sauce was tasty, it was the only element that had any hint of smokiness. The chicken itself showed no signs of being grilled or cooked over flames, leading me to suspect it might have been microwaved. Everything else on the plate was so unremarkable that it's hardly worth detailing. The chicken was so bad that I only managed to eat a quarter of it and regrettably threw the rest away—something I find hard to do, considering the life that was lost for it to end up as waste. In summary, this was a major letdown, and I'm disappointed to say that I've once again found a subpar, overpriced BBQ joint that has no qualms about charging high prices for poor quality food."
