"I visited this restaurant on a Saturday around 2 PM, and we were the only customers there. I had been to their other location years ago, but this was my first time at this one. Since we were uncertain about the food with no other patrons around, we decided to order a pound of crawfish. I was pleasantly surprised—the crawfish were amazing! They were large, just like baby lobsters, which is exactly how I like them. Now I'm craving their crawfish and definitely plan to return this weekend for more!"

During my first visit to Houston, I had a disappointing experience with the food. The seasoning was lacking, and everything tasted stale. The sausage was undercooked and almost raw. I really cannot recommend this place. View menu

The Spicy Garlic Wings are my favorites. The fried oysters are average need some kind of spice. The fried okra was good. I had to ask for 2 ranch sauce. I guess that 24 wings /2 orders wasn't good enough for 2 sauces. Customer service is below average.

I had an incredible meal where I devoured 6 pounds of crawfish, which was absolutely delicious, especially with the garlic butter! The grilled oysters were amazing—full of flavor and incredibly fresh! The fried chicken feet were also delightful; I recommend asking for them extra crispy. Overall, I loved the whole experience!

Many friends recommended this restaurant to me, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The restaurant was clean, and the service was friendly. We ordered the special fried rice, various clam dishes, crawfish, and oysters, and everything was absolutely delicious. The prices here really set this place apart from others; it’s very budget-friendly.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
