"The Scarlet Vetter says......My regular chinese cuisine place was closed on a Monday, so I decided to try here. The order was taken very quickly by phone and a 20 minute pick up time was given, which was good. The gentleman taking the order was very difficult to understand. However, I managed to order 3 egg rolls, one fried dumpling, 1 mongolian beef, 1 sweet and spicy shrimp and two quarts of Wonton Soup, after some explaining and reexplaining. At least that 's what I think I ordered. That is what I said on the phone, I just can 't be sure what was written down on the other end. I drove there and sure enough the order was ready within the 20 minute time frame promised. I paid for the bill (a little over $50) took my bag and went home, anxious to dig in to our Chinese food feast. When I got home, I discovered that there were no eggrolls. (Cue spousal recriminations of the first order). Him: I can 't believe you forgot to order the egg rolls, you know they 're my favorite. Me: Of course I did not forget to order the egg rolls... I know they 're your favorite.... I did order them....in fact, I ordered them first ....I even ordered 3! Apparently they just didn 't make it into the bag. Him: I can 't believe there aren 't any egg rolls, I 've been looking forward to them ever since you told me you were ordering Chinese for dinner. This is a new place.... how come you didn 't go to our regular place? They would never forget my egg rolls. Me: Well, perhaps you should call our regular place and ask them why they had the temerity to be closed on a night when they should have known that I 'd be ordering Chinese food for dinner, and that you needed your egg rolls? Silence. Finally. Now on to the rest of the meal that did actually make it into the bag. My husband said the Mongolian beef was relatively tasty but light on portion. My fried dumplings were nothing to write home about. Adequate. The Wonton soup was very good. My shrimp dish, requested to be on the spicy side was bland, bland, bland and also light in portion. If the eggrolls had made it in the bag I would have struggled with whether to rate this experience a 3. But.....no eggrolls. Someone had to be accountable for the hubby 's recriminations."

The food is not bad. The costumer service needs a lot of work.

best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had and I love the white rice plus prices are generally reasonable

I get takeout from this place a few times a month, and it's consistently excellent. The online ordering system is very efficient, and their prices are reasonable.

Big Disappointment! I ordered $100 worth of food. Missing sweet and sour pork. Chicken and cashew tastes like salt and nothing else. I requested no mushrooms in my food because I am allergic. Mushrooms in my food! Fried rice has no flavor. We won’t be back! View menu

The food used to be great and now it’s all flavorless and the rangoons are always empty. I was eating veggie lomein when I felt something in my mouth. I pulled out this piece of metal that could’ve caused damage to my GI system. We will drive farther for Chinese next time!

I recently moved to the area and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. We were truly impressed! The service was both quick and friendly, the food was delicious, and our orders were accurate. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable! We will definitely be coming back!

Food is still good, but the place used to be a comfortable dine in place but seems like it’s only take out now? Waited for our food at a dirty table kind of shoved in the corner. Also, I originally went on a day they were closed — the website isn’t updated with current hours so call ahead. View menu

Had never tried this restaurant so called to order. When I had some difficulty understanding a question (language barrier) the staff member thought that shouting repeatedly could fix that. Staff was very rude when we picked up order. Order was correct, but the beef and broccoli tasted off so we tossed it. Ate some of the General Tso 's chicken and all who did spent 2 days being sick. Never again.

However, the setup isn’t really geared for dining in, which might be a result of Covid. It’s more tailored for takeout. There are a few seating options for waiting, but they clearly prefer the takeout model. The location is fantastic in East Aurora. Prices are what you’d expect for the area, with dinner portions around $12. Unless you’re opting for Fried Rice, which is cheaper. Oh, and you have to try their Donuts! They come in a small wax bag filled with deep-fried donut balls sprinkled with sugar, and they are absolutely divine! I’ve treated myself to them twice, but I have to be careful, because they’re not only delicious but also very affordable! Timmy Ho’s, watch out!

"We come out to Buffalo from Syracuse a few times a year, and we usually try to get Buffalo centric stuff while we're there. The place we had planned to go this time was closed unexpectedly, so we scrambled and found this place searching for good food recommendations. Beef on Weck, pizza and wings sounded perfect. We originally went for the one in Clarence, but it seems like they don't do take out? The next closest was here in East Aurora, and they had the option to take our order over the phone. We parked by the gas station and I walked up to the bar to get the food, but they have a separate pick up spot like two buildings over on the backside. Way better parking situation back there... now we know.We went with the beer battered fries, but it was a toss up between... all of them. They don't do beer cheese for to go orders, so we got them plain with ketchup and ate them on the way home. Maybe they're more crisp when they come out, but they had lost their beer battered texture and were mostly soft when we ate them. Still a great deal for $4.50.The Beef On Weck sandwiches were the best we've ever had. Tons of very tender beef, fresh, soft bread. The horseradish was just the right level of potent where you could pile it on for a kick without blasting your sinuses.Having said that, (and sorry if this tanks the credibility of my review), every time I eat these things I feel like something's missing. Maybe it's because I grew up going to places like Clark's in Syracuse where they are loaded with mustard, or cheddar on an onion roll. The Au Jus helps, but your whole flavor profile is just additives. Caraway, course salt, plain horseradish with plain beef. The Au Jus is the most flavorful part of the sandwich. We made horsey sauce at home and thought they were infinitely better with it. (Don't hurt me, Buffalo.)We ordered the Beef On Weck pizza because it was the first time we've ever seen it, and it had great reviews. I think we would have fared better with the chicken wing or pepperoni. We loved everything about the texture and density of the pizza. Crispy crust without being too dry or crunchy. It's all got a heavy feel to it, and was pretty filling for a 10 pizza. The dough had a fresh homemade kind of whole wheat taste to it. There wasn't really much horseradish, and it was topped with the same beef from the sandwiches. Again, cooked absolutely fall apart tender, but that alone (along with the kummelweck seasoning) didn't make a complete pizza. If the other pizzas have these same qualities, I'm sure they're an absolute home run.By far, the best part of this meal though was the wings. We always go with the hottest up front, because far too many places who claim to ramp up the heat seem to be catering to people who don't eat spicy foods at all. I'm not much of a masochist myself just for reference, my comfort level sits just above Taco Bell fire sauce. So when we heated these wings up and started to tear up, we realized we might actually have the real deal here. After eating one, it was one of the best wings I've ever had... and then the fire started and I had to take a break. I probably wouldn't eat food much hotter than this, but this was right on the border between adventure and abuse. I can swing that, but I'll need some tissues to blow my nose and maybe cry it out. When the fire died down, I tried one of the lemon pepper wings, and then immediately had another. I had to cut myself off after the third one so my girlfriend could have some. I don't know how they compare to other wings in Buffalo, but top tier against the many wings we've tried in Syracuse. The meat had this extra fatty texture, but was ordered (and beautifully delivered) extra crispy. Their bleu cheese is also the absolute best. This was a great meal and we're glad we chose this place. The only downside was the price, coming in at about $74 for whole lot. I'd recommend anybody do it once, but I probably wouldn't go again at that"
