"This place has a five star rating for a reason. It's located just outside of Salem's downtown and is absolutely beautiful. All of the different types of yarn are arranged by size and color. It's so pleasing to the eye to walk in and see them stacked on all of the shelves. The store has a little sitting area for classes as well as a shelf of tea that you can purchase. There's also a lot of really beautiful helpful books on knitting and crocheting. I haven't knit in a long time so I purchased one … – show"

Little shop with lots of gorgeous yarn. Quite a bit of local yarn, with some imported.

This is a beautiful little yarn shop with a good selection, especially of luxurious hand-dyed yarns. Holly has a well-curated selection of gifts, books, knitting supplies and teas in addition to all the scrumptious yarn! Definitely worth checking out for high-quality yarn and supplies.

I stumbled on this shop while on vacation and it is fabulous! The owner, Holly, welcomed me and offered help right away. The shop has a lovely selection of local yarns highlighted. The selection was excellent, and she also carries books, patterns, notions, tools and tea! I spent a wonderful hour among the yarn, and only wish I was local to stop in more often!

Love Salem's newest yarn store! They've got a wide variety of yarn weights and brands, including some tried and true favorites like MadelineTosh, Manos de Uruguay, and Cascade, as well as some I'd never seen before. Along with yarn they've got a great needle selection, and a good selection of notions/stitch markers/accessories. There's space to sit and knit, and the owners are super friendly and helpful! I am a beginner knitter. I am making a hat for my granddaughter. I messed it up and really needed help. I walked into Wild Knits and Bridget was the sweetest, kindest human being ever!!!! I offered to pay her to fix my project. She said she wouldn't charge me and we sat down together as she explained what to do. She was even complimentary of my stitches. She nearly had me in tears. I needed kindness today and boy did she deliver. I might actually continue knitting . I was frazzled when I walk … – show

I absolutely adore this shop, this is my favorite new find of the year. I searched around online looking for a shop that would have everything I needed. I wanted to be able to purchase my supplies all in one spot and Wild Knits had every single thing I needed including the exact yarn brand and color I wanted. I think it was the owner who helped me while I was there and she was wonderful, very helpful and attentive. I felt like the shop was really family friendly too, which as a Mom is something … – show

"Date night Saturday night. Our reservation was for 7pm, but we were falling asleep, so luckily they were able to accommodate at 6:15. : Only a few tables were occupied. Tall ceilings, nice ambiance, would have maybe liked some additional lighting such as candle light (or faux candle light . The weather outside was lovely and they opened the doors which gave way to French doors with iron railing. they were pretty! Our server mentions that the menu changes pretty frequently so we may not see on the menu what we read online. Fine by me, as you know from my reviews, I 'm always up for a food adventure. I had a gin based cocktail which tasted balanced. Spring Mushroom Mousseline, Pistachio and Drunken Fruit with Date Pecan bread. Mousseline served in a glass votive like ramekin (much like you 'd see foie , was tasty, creamy, albeit a little gritty from the pistachios. The bread came like a small loaf, almost precut (could have been sliced all the way through , with macerated cherry/cranberry compote. For a vegetarian option like foie, we were pleased and ate the entire portion. Scotch Olives with Saffron Aioli. These olives were HOT. No joke. A bit of, could you please blow on this before I burn my tongue? But, they were briny on the inside, with a perfectly coated fried crunch outside, and so yum once the heat dissipated. Nice touch on the aioli. Only 4 of them unfortunately... that 's 2.25 each! Rosemary Grilled Lamb Chops with Seedy Broccolini Salad with Cherries. Wood grilled carrots and pomegranate molasses. $39. Nice presentation. Crunchy but soft carrots, broccolini cooked perfectly. Seemed a bit on the small side as far as meat goes. Two double lollipops. Cooked perfect, and beautiful gamey taste, just not too much bang for the buck. Grilled Sturgeon, warm rice salad, fiddlehead ferns, snap peas. Not a fan of the glaze ontop, the fish portion was fine, but lackluster. I 'm a huge sucker for fiddlehead ferns, and I also know that they can be overcooked within seconds, which these were just slightly overcooked, lacked the snap in your teeth you get from a bright green cooked correctly one. Oh well. With everything in one bite, it was good, just not amazing. We shared the Mexican hot chocolate warm brownie/cake in a cup. The foam was nice, but the inside really reminded me of a fudgy cake you can buy in the grocery store, add water, and nuke in the microwave. Next time, happy to go back just for drinks and apps. Skip the more expensive main courses on their menu."
