"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The $1.50 egg roll was overcooked and had that unmistakable taste of frozen food. I also noticed that there were no Chinese staff members, including cooks, which raises concerns about the authenticity of the cuisine. While some locals may find it authentic based on reviews, it doesn't truly represent real Chinese food. Most dishes are priced at $12.50 or more; although the portions are generous for Americanized versions, they lack flavor.
The fried wontons, priced at $1.50 for two triangles as shown in my photo, were underwhelming. Additionally, the dinner plates came with no extra items beyond what was specifically listed on the menu, which was frustrating. After my initial disappointing visit, I decided to give it another shot, hoping it was just an off night, but unfortunately, my second experience was equally unsatisfactory.
I would recommend avoiding this place. Instead, try the small takeout Chinese restaurant next to the Mexican place near Walmart. Their food is much better, the prices are more reasonable, and they have actual cooks who know how to prepare authentic Chinese dishes."
