"It is a step back in time with today's conveniences. I lived in Norco when it was owned by the Brown Ice Cream family. I admired it when I was driven by or rode my horse on the Levee. It was like I'd get into a dream when I got the circular drive and entered the B. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was wonderful. I hope to come back soon. I wish I could buy it and keep the staff, programs and menu. I recommend staying there and simply absorbing the ambience surrounding this restored elegance of an important time in our history. It is close enough to New Orleans to enjoy a ball game, Mardi Gras Parade or other festivities for which the city is noticed, then retreat to the sounds of ships on the river or enjoy a time of rest and tranquility."

"This place is like the Cheers of Luling/Boutte, but without the bar! The staff is always cheerful and friendly. Courtney is exceptional; she remembers me every time and even calls me by name. Knowing how much I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, she informed me about the new chicken nuggets they added to the menu. I truly appreciate the genuine personalized service at Anita's. I see them treating every customer with their warm and friendly approach. I visit at least once a week because it makes everyone happy when my grandchildren come to visit. Plus, I get to enjoy the best burger I’ve ever had, available from 11 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday through Saturday! Love you guys!"

"I Was looking so forward to eating here again. It was a disappointment. Let me start with the good. Our server was wonderful. He got a nice tip. He was attentive and funny gave us alot of time for the girls to catch up. The menu is small so I was hoping that everything would be wonderful not many complicated things to make. We ordered the Catcracker shrimp for the table and they were wonderful. There are eight nice sized fried shrimp on a bed of coleslaw. Very good. Three of us ordered the Cuban Sandwhichthe other two ordered Ceaser Salad and a Bahn Mi sandwhich. The Cuban sandwhiches were terrible. They were cold and were not close to what one is supposed to taste like the cheese was not melted. Two of the ladies only ate a half of their sandwhich, I took mine apart and ate the meat, cool meat. The salad look nice but it was just lettuce and 3 croutons. When we left we all felt the same worst Cubans we have ever eaten. They say their **** Mary's were really good , Not. It had an off taste too much garlic power??? we could not figure it out , the pickled vegetables were a nice garnish. The last time we were there it was packed pre Covid. So I hope they get it together because it is a cute place with lots of potential. I have read other reviews that the food is coming out of the kitchen cold, so maybe a warmer would help. We did not have to wait long to be served so the waiter was on top of his game."

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The $1.50 egg roll was overcooked and had that unmistakable taste of frozen food. I also noticed that there were no Chinese staff members, including cooks, which raises concerns about the authenticity of the cuisine. While some locals may find it authentic based on reviews, it doesn't truly represent real Chinese food. Most dishes are priced at $12.50 or more; although the portions are generous for Americanized versions, they lack flavor. The fried wontons, priced at $1.50 for two triangles as shown in my photo, were underwhelming. Additionally, the dinner plates came with no extra items beyond what was specifically listed on the menu, which was frustrating. After my initial disappointing visit, I decided to give it another shot, hoping it was just an off night, but unfortunately, my second experience was equally unsatisfactory. I would recommend avoiding this place. Instead, try the small takeout Chinese restaurant next to the Mexican place near Walmart. Their food is much better, the prices are more reasonable, and they have actual cooks who know how to prepare authentic Chinese dishes."

"I ordered food online, and my husband went to pick it up. We got hibachi chicken and steak, but unfortunately, my entire family ended up feeling unwell. The rice was stale, and both the chicken and steak tasted spoiled. We only had a small amount before we realized something was wrong, and now we’re all suffering from severe diarrhea. When I called the restaurant, they denied any problems and asked me to bring the food back for a refund. I ended up throwing it away, and I will never return to this place again!"
