"I was feeling nostalgic about Wit or Wit Out now having new owners and a new name, and I hesitated to return. I’ve been visiting since they first opened, back when cheesesteaks were just $2 during the opening week. After being let down by some other local restaurants, I decided to give it another try. To my delight, the cheesesteaks were still excellent, and they continue to offer the same choice of flat or chopped, tender, flavorful meat. They use Amoroso rolls, which really make a difference in keeping everything together. The staff was friendly and accommodating. So, even though they’ve changed ownership and name, the quality remains unchanged. Stop by—you won’t be disappointed!"

We visited for the first time, and it certainly won't be our last. The taste and quality of the meat were outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly and treated my son wonderfully.

This place knows how to make the customer happy. I’m used to getting $16 steve’s steaks for double meat that wasn’t nearly as good or stocked full in my lightweight steak for 7 bucks. I would add a picture but it’s already gone!

Outstanding!! Food is great, especially their Cheesesteaks! They have cooper sharp and seeded rolls. I love that there's Plenty of free parking. Very clean inside! My go to Cheesesteak for a while now. Juicy, tasty and the seeded roll is excellent! I'm making myself hungry View menu

Hands down there is no other place in Philly that makes a Cheesesteak like this place this man Prides and putting in the best ribeye steak tender with no blubber or fat gristle around it and the bread is amazing and the quality and the quantity and the price is all worth it $10 for authentic Philly cheesesteak trust me nobody can top this place and it's in the Northeast every bite that you take from it your mouth is going to be happy

I got a lightweight cheesesteak with cooper sharp cheese, fried onions, mushrooms, and long hots. It was DELICIOUS!!!! I wish it was a bit bigger but the flavor was soo good it made up for it. They do have a bigger one called the heavyweight but its twice the price so I wasn't sure if its a 2ft steak or if its same size roll but more meat. I will say that the roll I got was soft, about the size of a shorti roll from wawa but the steak itself was Perfect! would absolutely get again!
