Woodchuck's Cafe - Menu

I had the stuffed wood carving with roasted okra for lunch, and it was amazing! The burger and okra were spot on. Plus, I enjoyed a Barq's soda with my meal. My only regret is that I was too full to try a cupcake. Five stars!

Hand pattied burgers seasoned perfectly. Steak fries cooked to a beautiful crisp yet soft on inside. Delicious to say the least. Oh and their Extra Dill pickles cut fresh are to die for. I ate the one off my burger and requested more and I'm not a big fan of pickles.

I have been to Woodchuck so many times that I feel like I could become a regular there. Every single dish I have tried has been outstanding. I had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, showcasing wonderful local flavors. The ambiance felt genuinely authentic, and the service was outstanding—truly exceeding expectations for a diner of this kind. They serve mimosas and offer large cups of coffee, all in a friendly and clean environment. Highly recommended!

How much wood do a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood (say that fast ten times) but seriously and I'm serious I've seen the cafe but never been inside the place used to be something else but now since my friend took me there as his guest for breakfast the place is so mellow I have to get back as soon as possible but don't take my word for anything

I’m the epitome of a foodie having eaten in the nicest of restaurants in big cities to the hole in the walls in small towns. Food in Tallahassee is mediocre at best, so to come across a restaurant here that has actual good food is like finding a diamond in the rough. Food was great I had the three egg w/ Turkey links, a slice of French toast, and a burger bc I was THAT hungry. I finally discovered a true hidden gem! This place is fantastic—definitely the best fried steak I've ever had. It's a thick, hand-breaded and fried steak accompanied by eggs, potatoes, and a selection of bread. Everything is just great, including the service, food, and mimosas. The prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generous. Don't overlook this hidden spot in Tallahassee; it's attached to a gas station, and parking may seem limited, but I've always managed to find a spot. If needed, I would happily park down the road and walk however far it takes for that amazing fried steak! This has become my new favorite breakfast/brunch spot!

We recently went to Woodchuck's Cafe for breakfast after getting our Christmas tree. The cafe had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. When we were driving there, we initially thought it was a gas station because of the colorful sign, but we soon realized it was a small cafe. They offered a variety of breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, cupcakes, and adult drinks. I had perfectly boiled eggs and a delicious sweet pancake. The drinks were served in giant cups, which was convenient as we didn't have to worry about refills. Despite the fact that 80% of the employees were not wearing masks, our waitress was wearing one so we felt comfortable staying.

Woodchuck's Cafe is a fantastic spot for both lunch and breakfast. It's also a good option for dinner if you're in the mood for a sandwich or burger. However, if you prefer something more substantial for dinner, you might want to look elsewhere. The service is consistently pretty good and the food is really delicious. The only reason I'm not giving them a perfect 5 stars is because they can be a bit inconsistent. For example, their ham order can vary from thick cut to shaved to bits and pieces. Presentation is another area where they could improve - sometimes the grits are spilling over the bowl or the burger is hanging off the plate. However, this doesn't impact the taste at all.
