"We began with Baked Escargot in Herbed Citrus Parmesan Butter—an exquisite dish in which the desire to savor every drop of the butter was undeniable. The Grilled Octopus with Cilantro Chimichurri was expertly spiced, leaving a lasting impression of refined flavors. The Central Caesar Salad, uniquely presented for communal sharing, was notable for its rich Anchovy Emulsion. The Cream of Green Chile Soup was a revelation; its creamy texture and depth of flavor were so captivating that they prompted a moment of culinary reflection. However, the Seared Diver Scallops, though well-executed, did not resonate as strongly with me; I had a less than favorable reception of the broccoli puree. In contrast, the Lobster Agnolotti was satisfactorily balanced and flavorful with its delicate pasta and butter-poached lobster claw submerged in a creamy lobster broth. The Honey Lavender Long Island Duck was another course that showcased the fusing of sweet and savory nuances. The undeniable highlight of the meal was the Ribeye Prime, a masterful display of flavor infusion, complemented by Chipotle Lime Butter and enhanced by the textural contrast of crispy onion strings. We concluded on a celebratory note with a Dessert Platter for my husband’s birthday. This thoughtful gesture included an array of desserts from Petite Crème Brulée to a Mexican Chocolate Tart, each a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to a memorable dining experience. However, it is imperative to note that the ambiance was somewhat marred by the overly loud piano and live singing. While the music itself was beautifully rendered, its volume was disproportionate to the dining setting, complicating conversational flow and detracting from the overall enjoyment."

"It has been about 4 years since I have been here and this time was extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service. Exquisite experience is very far from reality. The designated server Andrew welcome us and from there he completely ghosted us. Another server Alex had to come by and explained us that Andrew was busy making a salad for another group. He felt bad for long wait and decided to take our order. Long story short we order at 7:25pm and received our food at 8:30pm. Andrew never touch the table once and the only individual that actually touched our table in over an hour was the wonderful water server and Angel the bartender that pushes cocktails throughout the dining experience. Mind you we were drinking wine. I spoke to Andrew about the situation, and he yet never came to the table nor anything was done about it. The only positive feedback was on the food quality. First class to the chefs that work hard to delivery an outstanding culinary experience. Unfortunately the front of the house team did such a poor job executing that takes away from the overall experience."

"The food quality and taste is the only draw for this Indian restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious!!! The other reviews do not exaggerate. I could not stop eating and left feeling stuffed with yummy food. You will just need to deal with very slow, spotty service and an atmosphere that is dated and a tad grimy. We had garlic naan, cheese naan, chicken vindaloo (spicy), and chicken curry (spicy). The dishes were perfect, although the spice level is more mild than other traditional Indian places. They didn’t have any unsweet tea, which I hear is great. I tried the strawberry and mango tea but they were not good and tasted super sweet. The servers looked like they were struggling to keep up with all the tables. The bathroom and the area around the bathroom stunk really bad and was gross. But otherwise, I think the food is so good that it’s worth putting up with the downsides of this place."

"I've been going to Park tavern occasionally for years now. The restaurant has established itself as a downtown El Paso staple, known for its high quality and delicious food. I was most impressed by the seafood options upon my most recent visit. Everything was cooked to perfection. The dessert menu is not to be overlooked as well. The pastry chef has a few aces up their sleeve. I'm very much looking forward to my next visit, recommending Park Tavern to others along the way."

"Sometimes you just need to celebrate with either corn and truffle soup or green pea soup as a starter, with friends that are family, and have a palate cleanser with delicious summer organic Rosé from Austria. Very romantic, but also perfect for some business lunch or breakfast/coffee and sweets like mango sorbet. Gracias to the Executive and Sous Chefs and their team. And the servers, hosts, and front desk staff. Thanks to all the cleaning and mechanical professionals because in the years I have been enjoying this space I haven’t had literally any problems. Truly love being taken care of by the endless amazing people at this property that is my home away from home and a place to relax, get work done, and celebrate memories such as getting advanced degrees/awards and… who doesn’t want a massage and gourmand experience on the same day after work. Thank you to morning crew to the secrets and gems of this fantastic property including Blush."
