"When I say I'm obsessed with this place, I mean I'M OBSESSED. I went here with friends one night because it was nearby and looked good, and I've gone back so many times since. Not only is their atmosphere and decor nice but their food is also amazing. I'm absolutely in love with their abu udon with chili oil on the side. I haven't had many ramen/udon without broth and you mix a sauce in, so when I tried this for the first time, it was an absolute game changer. I also love their karaage, appetizers, and curry. Their rolls are alright in my opinion--nothing special, but I mostly come here for their ramen anyways. Try to get reservations if you can on the weekend, because there will almost always be a wait for dinner! :"

The sushi is bland and overpriced. The restaurant is dirty and they were sold out of many items. Save your money.

Best ambiance! I feel transported every time we go to Maru. Great food. Great cocktails. Super fun for a special but not stuffy night out.

I had pork gyoza and the basic Ramen. Both were super delicious and really hit the spot ? It was the perfect amount too- not over full, no leftovers.

Great food in a relaxed vibe restaurant. Staff are really helpful and friendly. It looks like it can get busy so arrive early to get a spot! The fish servings in the nigiri are really generous!

The katsu chicken and curry was very comforting and did not taste like the premade one from the box. The bredding on the chicken was good perfect and the decorations inside were very nice. also the staff was nice

The Tokyo Ramen is probably the worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life. No fat in the broth or pork—I’m not sure the pork could even be considered chashu and the broth was comparable to that of an instant ramen. The sushi was pretty good though. View menu

incredible experience! absolutely loved the atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly, timely and courteous. we ordered the spicy roll and fat mai roll, and the marukami rays and chicken paitan rays. everything was very tasteful and fresh. a perfect experience, look forward to the return!

our favorite thing here were the cold noodles. in any case the most delicious thing we had. everything else was quite average. beautiful staff and atmosphere. I would probably go back if I were in the opposite to try others dinge and see if it could get the evaluation for me higher. but probably wouldn't look for it alone.

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend. The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper. There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"
