"The bread here is fantastic, and their Gumbo is definitely a solid choice. However, I strongly advise against ordering the jambalaya. It’s only available on Fridays and Saturdays, and during my last visit (as shown in the attached photo), the chicken and sausage jambalaya was lacking; there was no sausage at all and barely two teaspoons of chicken. The flavor was mostly just rice, heavily dominated by tomato, green pepper, and a hint of spice. If you’re in the mood for decent jambalaya, I recommend checking out at least three other places within a ten-mile radius that do a much better job. Just to clarify, this was not a takeout order; they now serve dine-in meals in clam shell containers."

Good food and one of your employees, I think his name is Jonathon, was super helpful and very nice

The drunken chicken etouffee was delicious. I added bacon and fried onion toppings and added a side of Cajun toast. It was well cooked and flavorful.

Bailey and Johnathan looked like well oiled machines working in tandem! The food came up fast, hot, and yummy! I didn't get 5 stars for atmosphere due to it being a bit warm in the store. View menu

I order their Jambalaya every 3rd Friday. Got it today and it was runny. Tried to eat it and the reason it was so runny is it is DRENCHED in hot sauce. So much that it isn't even edible. $13 down the tubes. Very disappointed after being a long time customer.

The food is amazing and no different than the N. College location. The decor is certainly lacking in comparison, and of course, there is no Joe. But he's fine an amazing job of keeping the food quality as the top priority in adding locations, and we're thrilled to have a location closer to home!

I’ve never encountered a more disappointing location of the Yat’s chain. The decor was simple and uninviting, with no beer served. At one point, there wasn't even any music playing in the dining area. The food was decent, but not the best I've had at Yat’s. I will return to Yat’s, but likely not to this particular location. I've dined here several times, and it's decent, but we recently visited the Yats on 96th Street, and the difference is remarkable. The 96th Street location still holds true to the original Yats experience. HTC should definitely visit 96th Street and learn a thing or two! It feels like the prices at HTC increase every time I go there.

The food is great! The thing that is disappointing and frustrating is that they’re often out of what I normally order (assuming it’s their best seller). I’ll get excited up until I order at the restaurant. The chairs and tables were also not clean during this visit, with what appeared to be crumbs scattered everywhere. The service can be better. One time I was there, my food was served cold (like it was in the fridge). When I gave it back to them, they never apologised. The guy just said “oh.” Also, on your website, you might want to change “for under 10 bucks” because that’s not true. I’ve attached a screenshot.
