"Recently I visited Yeowoosai with a group of friends and the atmosphere was lively and energetic exactly what we needed for a weekend together. We ordered a few dishes to share, including the popcorn chicken, which was crispy and tasty. The bread and meat ratio was on point optimal crunch and taste experience. In addition, the Omirice and kimchi pajeon ordered. Everything was excellent. The parts were plentiful and filled us. Everything we've paired well with drinks. The staff in Yeowoosai was so friendly. They were attentive, accommodating and made sure that our orders were met. I appreciated their fast service and the fact that they often checked us to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. Considering that this was on a weekend night, they did a good job to keep the energy on. I would recommend Yeowoosai to anyone looking for fun food experience. PS Thanks to the staff that our drinks were always full, cheers! Good moods"

The food is somewhat expensive, but the portions are generous and perfect for sharing. I’d say that two people can easily share one dish. Edit: I've visited many times, and I can confidently say they never disappoint, regardless of the dish you choose.

Yeowoosai has been around for decades. It is the OG Korean Bar with delicious food. Service and vibes are always spot on. If you are looking for an authentic experience, you have to visit! Lots of soju, beer, and Korean influenced drinks as well. If you're up for it, there is also Karaoke next door. View menu

Food was too bad! We had fried seaweed (so glad we tried) so good! Kimchi roasted rice and chicken wings are always delicious. And enjoyed the peach seasoned Soju in a pitcher. The price is not bad for the part. I would have given 5 stars if we didn't have to wait too long to take our order. Everything was good!

Oh my, the yogurt rice wine was beyond words...it was so good. The dish has a big portion. Seafood tofu soup was great. The seafood pancake could be better with the dough, it was too easy to break but I let it pass because it had lot of fillings including squid and onion. The kimchi fried rice was also sooo big portion, probably for 6 people to finish that. Overall it was a great experience, I will be back if I'm in town

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
