"The food was delicious and the employees were incredibly polite as usual and of course everything was sanitary and looking good. This is one of my favorite places to go because the food is healthy and very enjoyable. I would recommend going at anytime breakfast, lunch, or dinner nomatter what makes you think of that yummy nutritious selection they have just know you'll be in for a satisfying meal that will make the rest of your day feel spectacular. Anyway thanks for checking out my review and I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to have next."

"I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for the first time, and it was a delightful experience! The service was outstanding; I interacted with three different staff members, all of whom were friendly and polite. The complimentary soup was tasty and just right for a cool, rainy day. The highlight of the combo plate was undoubtedly the taco—it was hearty, flavorful, and the homemade crispy taco shell was a real treat. However, the enchilada appeared to be made with American cheese, which isn't my preference. The chicken fried steak was moist and tender, but it could have used a bit more seasoning, as both the meat and the coating seemed a bit bland. Unfortunately, the gravy was also quite plain and didn't enhance the dish much. On a brighter note, the beans and rice were really good!"

"I have visited this restaurant several times and have tried various steak dishes. I enjoy being served a cup of soup along with chips and salsa at each visit. The staff is very friendly and seating is prompt upon arrival. I can see myself returning to try more items on their menu, but I do have some criticism regarding their steak. Although the cuts are good, they seem to be cooked at a lower heat for a longer period of time. Even when ordered medium, the steak lacks the charred flavor I would expect from a grill. I believe that a steakhouse should season their cuts more heavily and cook them at a higher heat to enhance the flavors. While the portions are generous, I would be willing to pay more for a higher quality product. The restaurant has a large selection and a nice dining room compared to similar restaurants in the area. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family, but suggest they improve their seasoning and cooking techniques for the steak dishes."

"This was my first order at this restaurant. I got the big meat lovers pizza with jalapeños and light sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was definitely not light, and there were no jalapeños on it at all. I called to inform them about the issue, but I don't expect any compensation. I still ate the pizza, but I hope they can get it right next time."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find that Zapata TX had sushi on the menu. I was even more surprised at how good it was! The food overall was very good, with made-to-order meals and free refills. Although a bit on the pricey side, it's the only sushi restaurant within an hour's drive, so it's worth it. The quality of the food was decent and I would give them 5 stars. Be prepared to wait a bit though, as the sushi takes a while to make. Despite the wait, it's worth it when you're in Zapata TX and don't have many other options."
