"We pulled up and got a spot right outside the door but I have a feeling we got lucky. Just to be safe, I would say be prepared to walk a block or two. When we walked in, we were seated immediately. Our server came and brought waters right away. Our server helped us pick out what menu items were tasty and they were all spot on. Now I would be lying if I said these were the best empanadas I ever had but they certainly weren't the worst. My wrap was tasty to say the least. My cup was never empty and our server was attentive. No complaints. I mean the floor was a little sticky but it is a bar for the most part so that is to be expected. It's not at the top of my list but I would go back if invited."

The enchiladas where not that good. Very bland. Far from authentic enchiladas.

My first time here. I ordered veggie nachos with a page of guacamole and tried the cran cider beer. I'll try the nachos with fish or maybe the Veggie nachos.

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, including chips and salsa, grilled original wings, salad with lime-cilantro dressing, fajitas, blackened catfish platter, and carne asada platter.

If you are looking for a good Tex Mex than don't look any further! Very recommend the chickens Nachos, Tacos, Taco Salat and honestly the best wings in the city. The grilled wings are delicious and will blow you away! Wash everything with a freshly made margarita or a design beer! View menu

Friendly service, friendly crowd, selection of bottled cold beers, good fries, ordered chicken quesadillas (note: I am used to a pico spicy/hot salsa with my quesadillas but this experience was a bland/neutral although I tried to improvise), charming atmosphere, TVs by the bar, clean bathrooms. Parking can be a challenge if you arrive too much after 5pm.

I've been here for years and it seems like it's going further down the hill. It wasn't very busy, but it took forever to wait. Then wait a long time for our food.. When our food arrived, it wasn't what we ordered Our waitress was at least nice. She apologised that they no longer give chips and that they were all made of tea and they were not hot sauce and again, when our food was so long and then again, when they only brought out a meal from the two we ordered. We are also sorry that we have made the decisions to give them another attempt.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
