"Seafood plus dive bar? Yes please. We had a really good experience here ordering a smattering of seafood appetizers, including the Blue Point Oysters, steamed clams, raw clams, mussels, and bacon-wrapped sea scallops. For entrees we got the broiled scallops and the stuffed shrimp. The meal was really good and the beers on the menu were great. The only minor thing I will mention, with the added note that we came here on a Tuesday, was that they could probably use one more person working. The woman running the bar was also running the tables and was the facilitator for the kitchen. The place is small, but if they just had one more person, they'd refill drinks and bring the food faster. You will walk in hungry, you will leave satisfied. This place delivers what it advertises to be delivering. Happy seafoodin'."

I had oysters, they where fresh and extremely flavorful. Plus I had the perfect ****** Mary, just the right balance. The service was professional and friendly. The place reminds of Cheers

Hole in the wall and the food is rather splendid. My goto's are chicken scampi, lobster slider, steamers B(w/ butter tobacco and lemon in the butter. This place is great and service is good too.

This place is a true gem. The new owner, Anthony, and his team are absolutely fantastic. The food is excellent, it brings back memories, and the friendly smiles make it even better. What more could you ask for? View menu

Why oh why did we wait so long to use this gift certificate. What a hidden gem if you love seafood. The broiled scallops were large and in charge!!! Served with rice in a delicious garlic sauce. Oh my. Comes with a side salad and warm loaf of bread too. The prices were on point too. Can't wait to return!!

I'm very sorry for your loss and for the neighborhood's as well. This was such a fantastic place. I began visiting in the mid-80s, just two doors down (only 21 steps away). I fondly remember Dave working behind the bar and in the kitchen, along with Annie. It was truly a wonderful establishment. The scampi over linguine was always absolutely incredible.

I had heard wonderful things about this place, so I decided to give it a try for the first time. The service was impressive, but the food didn't quite suit my taste. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with pasta on the side, and it was just average. However, I did enjoy my pumpkin beer with a sugared rim. The atmosphere is dark and noisy, typical of a pub, so I wasn't expecting anything different. View menu

You need to keep your expectations realistic and then be pleasantly surprised by your experience. This is a dive with excellent seafood. On a busy day servers are friendly, but things get hectic, food takes forever, but you can have plenty of time to talk with your table. I prefer to sit at the bar for an early dinner. The house wines are mini bottles of Cavit. The beer is cold. Everything is delicious. They serve some of the freshest oysters you'll ever get for under $3/ea. With every entree comes a salad, your main dish, pasta and bread. You can't beat it!

I am such a sucker for dive restaurants and bars with good food and drink. I've been going to Patsy's in Patterson for years, same with Landmark in Livingston, etc. I absolutely love those places because not only is the food great but the nostalgic atmosphere really lends lots of the dining experience. Enter DP's pub in Garfield. This place has outstanding food at extremely reasonable prices and a casual, divey atmosphere that really can't be beat. We ordered oysters, mussels, shrimp and crab meat appetizer. Four salads, two orders of scallops, stuffed shrimp, shrimp Parmesan, a bottle of wine and two drinks. The bill was a ridiculous $161. Anywhere else I would've been glad to pay double. T...
