"I was surprised that the crowd was small for a Thursday evening. We had the crab cakes and spinach artichoke dip for appetizers and they were great as usual. Service was a bit behind on beverages. We ordered Ribeye Delmonico, Fettuccine al Carbonara, and Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and scallops. The Delmonico had a mushroom cognac sauce. It was soupy, insufficient reduction. The dish felt more like crockpot roast. Flavor was acceptable. The Fettuccine al Carbonara was also soupy, and lacked the flavor of a Carbonara. Obviously the bechamel based Alfredo sauce was used, and it was runny. The Fettuccine Alfredo with Shrimp and Scallops arrived as Shrimp and Chicken (insert buzzer sound). We didn’t send it back because it was late and they were already shutting down the kitchen. We finished our meal with heavy metal music blaring from the kitchen cleanup and brooms and mops swirling all around. The food quality was far below what we’ve come to expect from Giovanni’s. They’re on double secret probation with us now."

"Overall a decent place and something needed in Angleton. Sushi quality has been up and down over the years but this most recent time I came it was good. Service also has been alright over the years. "The food was pretty good however my friend asked for extra garlic in hers and onion on her salad. Both were so scarce. It was my birthday and I chose Luigi’s because it’s usually good. The waitress never asked about refills on drinks and we were going to ask for dessert but Nicole never offered. In stead when she brought to go containers she abruptly said you can pay me at the register. This was my friends first visit and her attitude blew it. In addition, there weren’t many people in the restaurant but she sat a couple with a whiney child right behind the two of us older women."

"What can I say about the Runway Cafe, except it is very hard to get a seat at times, I guess that says it all about their food, I have been coming to the Runway for quite some time and they always have excellent food. The owner is a very outgoing, talking to his guest and his staff is the same, very polite and professional. After church on Sundays a few of us will go out for lunch, a few is generally over 10 and more like 15, and they are always willing to accommodate what ever amount we have. For the excellent food and the great service this place gets 4 stars from me. Another beautiful day and a great lunch awaits us here at The Runway Cafe. Yes I know, I have a hard time deciding between Mexican, Asian and Sea Food, but today it is Sea Food. We all started out with a good salad and then I ordered fried shrimp and catfish on a bed of french fries. Rich had a crab cake with fried shrimp on a bed of fries which was the special of the day while Carl Walter decided on 2 different fried rice dishes. "Awesome food! Great service and atmosphere too. My wife likes the chicken parm even more than Giovanni 's. Everything was very good. We always share bites of our food with each other at new places. Nobody had a single negative or even neutral comment. Lots of flavor. EDIT: I had to demote a star on the food after a recent visit. I got the smoked platter this time and overall it was mediocre at best. Ribs were meh. The brisket sliders were just okay. Jalapeno sausage was fantastic. But everything else was total trash. Slaw tasted like watered down mayo and had no real flavor. Cornbread tasted like flour and corn water with a few kernels. Mac-n-cheese was total garbage. All the other food we had was great but the smoked platter was terrible."

In the past, I've thoroughly enjoyed your sirloin and T-bone steaks, but my latest visit left me quite disappointed. After a long road trip, my daughter and I were looking forward to a wonderful meal. Unfortunately, my T-bone steak did not live up to my expectations. Instead of being the red, juicy, and tender cut I remembered, it was a dull grey, quite thin, and rather tough, making it difficult to enjoy. I know you have the capability to provide better quality, so I urge you to reevaluate what you're serving. If it's not something you'd be willing to eat yourself, it might be time to reconsider your options. Despite this experience, I plan to return, as I believe everyone deserves a second chance. "The chips and salsa were tasty, with the salsa served warm. They also provide a green sauce that isn’t vegan. I ordered the veggie fajitas, but I was a bit disappointed since they don’t have a dedicated vegetarian menu like most other Mexican restaurants I've been to. I also tried the Mexican guacamole, which was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure if everything I ordered is vegan-friendly, but I should find out soon. Overall, everything was good. However, I did notice that I was charged the full price for the fajitas that usually include meat; it seems like they could have charged less for just the veggies. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to ask about it before leaving."

"This is my second visit to this Chili's location, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The waitress who served me wiped her nose with her hands multiple times without washing them, and then continued to serve me. This level of hygiene is concerning, and I had hoped my feedback from my previous visit would have been addressed, but it seems it wasn't taken seriously. I considered bringing it up, but she seemed to have an attitude, so I opted not to say anything. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Service: Dine-in."

This used to be our local family fav for brkfst barbacoa (pricey by the pound), drive thru gorditas (w/a drive thru intercom that NEVER got fixed), fajita tacos used to taste like actual fajita meat where we can see/taste the meat as fajita as opposed to now prepared all chopped up as if it were ground meat! There 's a BIG price taste difference between the two types of meat! We last visited on a Friday after 7p.m., a to go order we opted to order inside due to forever broken intercom. Ordered Steak ranchero, fajita quesadilla tacos mixtos under $40 didn 't get out of there until almost 9p.m.!!! Thin Hispanic, light complected young man Idk if he 's restaurant manager/owner kept saying it 's been a busy p.m., w/backed up kitchen was only excuse. No, sorry the wait, let me gift you a complimentary water at least for your wait, they used to have this courtesy in the past. During our wait, I noticed approx 8 tables busy NOT full place capacity. Also noticed several employees in kitchen not looking busy. Gotta hand it to the wait staff a young boy busing tables serving drive thru who were hustling to get wrk done though. This restaurant has had it 's nxt door competition held it 's own throughout the yrs. "Do not order online!!! Seems like they push those orders behind the drive thru and curbside!!! I waited an hour not only today but a month ago!! The management needs to be upgraded to caring and positive people. "Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed, possibly due to a fire incident. I attempted to visit yesterday but they were not open. If you are interested in their recipes, I recommend speaking to the lady who worked in their kitchen. I can share the recipe for their seasoned fries, which involves using Slap Ya Mama and Tony's seasoning. For a tasty burger, try seasoning with salt and pepper or kick it up a notch with some Slap Ya Mama seasoning. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 1 out of 5."

"The food was decent, and both of the female staff members were very friendly. However, I noticed that while one of them had her hair neatly tied back and wore a cap, the other staff member had her long hair down and unkempt. Although she was wearing a cap, her hair was still all over the place. At one point, I saw her pick up a foot-long bun to return it to the case, and her hair came into contact with it. That’s quite unsanitary! It's important for staff to keep their hair securely pulled back and to handle food items more carefully. I can't help but wonder how much hair might have ended up on the food. For this reason, I cannot recommend this location and won’t be returning."

"I would give less than 1 star if possible. I came from Alvin because the reviews seemed better than our local restaurant. Boy was I wrong. I came in and ordered food (paid cash) first time going there. We got home and ate the food, it was not good at all. Dry flavorless rice, the sauce for the food tasted burnt and the sweet and sour literally tasted sour (bad). I called to see if I could get my money back. Before this, i had already thrown the food in the outside garbage can which at that point, the food was a mixed up mess. The manager demanded I bring the food back for my money and was yelling at me at the phone and gave me nasty attitude. I was nothing but kind and apologized but i had already thrown the food in the garbage and i dont know about you but im not digging in a garbage can just for $20. She just yelled and told me it didnt make sense to refund without bringing the food back and called me a liar. Just awful customer service, first time customers and will never return and an absolute disgrace to places that actually dont mind helping their customers and serve good food!
