"We were the only diners in the restaurant; the other customers were just enjoying drinks and playing pool. We ordered wings, truffled fries, and shrimp street tacos. While the wings were a decent size, properly cooked, and flavorful, they arrived completely cold. The truffled fries were soggy and also cold. The shrimp street tacos, however, were unacceptable. They were drenched in crema, which pooled all over the plate, and on top of that, the crema tasted like it had gone bad. The shrimp were cold and had an off flavor, so we didn't eat them.
When the server inquired about our experience, we shared our concerns. She was polite and apologized but then simply informed (what seemed to be) the manager, who was sitting at the bar. Sadly, she never came over to speak with us and remained at the bar instead. Instead of addressing our issues, the server brought us the full bill.
We had hoped for much more from this place, but we won’t be returning, and I will be cautioning family and friends against trying it. I can honestly say this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had."
