"I had high hopes for this place, so I decided to try it out. I ordered 1 each of Fried Fish Taco, Blackened Shrimp Taco Veggie Taco. After getting them home, approx. 10 mins away, I opened each took a picture before any consumption. Here is how I found each: Edited to add: I waited about 20 mins for my order ? Fried Fish Taco was fried, but also pulled/smashed open in the tortilla (see photo Fish appeared to be cooked, however smothered in toppings so any crispiness (presumed so because it said ?fried? faded away to sogginess. Edible, but lacking. ? Blackened Shrimp was not blackened AT ALL, and seemed to be barely cooked. That was disappointing. The portion of toppings given w/ each taco (cabbage, cheese, ?green crack? was more equal in this taco than the others, so I wound up putting the shrimp in a pan to blacken for a short bit before putting it back in the taco, Added a little sour cream hot sauce as well, that combo was tasty. ? Veggie Taco was simply as listed on the menu, nothing fancy, and I added fresh jalapenos for an extra kick. The Red Cabbage on this one was overwhelming, and I tried to take some off however the melted cheese made that impossible to separate. Please note: if you LOVE the 'green crack ' they use, do know they give GENEROUS portions on the tacos. So much so, it may overpower other ingredients used. You can 't get give half stars, but I 'd give 2.5/5. I know they get busy and they tried, but the price for these kinds of tacos isn 't worth it (perhaps $2-$3 If you?re going to charge almost $4 or $5 a taco, please up the standards. My friend received a chicken quesadilla, and said that came out 'just ok ' (edible but flimsy. I?m willing to try one more time but, sadly, this experience wasn?t promising."

"Once we were seated, both the hostess and server were friendly. My partner doesn’t eat beef or pork and was hoping to add chicken to the angel hair pasta with tomato sauce since he always likes some kind of protein with his meal. Unfortunately, the server informed him that they don’t allow modifications like that, despite having chicken options on the menu (in sauces he avoids for health reasons). So, he had to settle for plain angel hair in tomato sauce, which was decent, but he wasn't thrilled. I often crave their house salad, but I'm currently on medication that makes my appetite very small—I probably wouldn’t even finish a kids' meal. They used to offer a side house salad, which I wanted to pair with my favorite eggplant rollatini appetizer. However, I was told I could only order a large entrée salad instead. The server suggested sharing it, but my partner dislikes balsamic dressing. I went ahead and ordered it, but I barely made a dent and only managed three bites of the eggplant. I didn’t want to deal with leftovers, but in the end, I had to take everything home. Additionally, they no longer provide complimentary bread like they used to, which is really disappointing because I genuinely love this place. I guess I’ll have to start visiting by myself and prepare to pay for larger portions and their bread service, even if I don’t need that much food."

"One evening, we arrived around 6 PM to find the doors open but the dining area completely dark and without air conditioning. The only waitress scheduled for that night didn't show up, so the cook—yes, the cook—ended up waiting on us. He was understandably nervous but did an amazing job. I must say, that night we enjoyed the best guacamole we've ever had! His name was Luis, and I sincerely hope he's still there and receiving the recognition he deserves. Thanks to him, I’m giving the service a 4-star rating instead of 3. My wife and I have had other odd experiences, too. For instance, one May, we waited over an hour for our food. The server offered several excuses, none of which were particularly convincing, but she did keep bringing us chips and salsa to tide us over. When our meals finally arrived, a couple of items were missing. We typically don't make a fuss about such matters because we know how challenging the service industry can be, and often, complaints reach the wrong person. Still, it's worth noting that our experiences in recent years haven't felt typical for a dining establishment. That said, I want to emphasize that the food has always been exceptional, which is why we continue to return. If you're looking for a delicious meal with a Mexican twist, this place is an excellent option. Just keep in mind that you might leave feeling happy, full, and a little perplexed!"
