"Wandered in at 7:30 in the morning before most of Portland is awake so I got my pick of the bar seating. The waitress was super nice and got me a cup of coffee while I reviewed the menu. I was tempted to do the German pancake but I caved and got an omelette. I went off menu and ordered everything: green peppers, green onion, green chili, spinach, mushroom, cheese, and sausage. It came with a side of toasted rye bread and hash browns which could have been better but most places don't do great hashbrowns. The omelette was excellent. I dunno how many eggs went into it but it was a small mountain on my plate and folks coming in remarked on how good it looked. You pay at your seat, which is great. No more lines at the register. For a glimpse of early morning Portland and a solid breakfast for a reasonable cost, it's a great option for early risers."
