"After enjoying lunch at this restaurant, I've come to the conclusion that it's an excellent spot for classic DC dishes at a reasonable price. Unlike other eateries that charge over $15 for a piece of fish—even if it's in a sandwich—this place keeps its prices affordable by offering a simple menu. For example, their platters are under $15, and sandwiches, like the crab cake sandwich, are capped at $11.50. During lunchtime, the line can get a bit lengthy, but it's definitely worth the wait. I decided to try their crab cake sandwich, which was served on a fresh roll with all the toppings, along with a side of coleslaw. I even had my father, who usually dislikes crab, take a bite, and to my surprise, he enjoyed it and ended up eating half of my sandwich! We both found the crab meat to be fresh and not overly seasoned or salty. It was flavorful and satisfying. Now, not only does my father have a reliable spot in the city to return to, but so do I!"
