"Another friend ordered the fried egg toast along with some of the best, crispiest home fries I've ever had in Nashville, complete with onions and bacon mixed in. The waitstaff was friendly and very accommodating. Despite the bustling breakfast crowd, the atmosphere felt comfortable and not too loud or crowded, which is often a problem in other restaurants. I was surprised to discover that it was a nonprofit cafe aimed at helping people learn a trade and regain their footing, which I only found out about toward the end of our meal. That, along with the AMAZING food, will definitely keep me coming back! Bravo!"

"I come here a lot with my grandparents and always have amazing service. I came with just my mom and it was the worst service. So if you’re not a regular don’t expect good service. Our server was more concerned and attentive with her regulars. She was also rude, gave us food with no syrup and no silverware. We had to ask another server to check on our food and ultimately had to get the manager. Had my French toast sitting in front of me with no syrup and no silverware for at least 4 or 5 mins before she came back with it, so it got cold. Manager is very sweet and kind though."

"The menu is surprisingly extensive for such a small diner, so it took us a while to decide. I ultimately went with the server's recommendation: Mama's Fried Chicken Sandwich, paired with some spicy mayo that she had made fresh that morning. Let me tell you, I was craving a meal like this! The prices are also very reasonable. To top it off, we indulged in their homemade pies (strawberry and Oreo, one of each), which were the perfect ending to our meal. If you have the chance to stop by for lunch, you definitely won’t regret it!"

"Great food but the staff is extremely rude. It’s like they don’t even want to be there. Every time I call in for an order it’s “hello what do you want” not hi thanks for calling katrinkas how are you today. It’s essentially like they are mad at you for calling. I’ve never seen such lack of respect for patrons at any restaurant or deli. I would be livid if I was the owner knowing how disrespectful the staff is towards my customers. Mind you this isn’t a one time incident, this is every time I call plus you can see it first hand while you’re waiting in Katrinkas they are RUDE TO EVERYONE.As mentioned the food is good but the prices are insanely high, plus with the staff being as unfriendly as they are you can easily go to another deli IN HB and get a really good egg sandwich from the deli by Planet Fitness… oh and the guy is extremely nice values your business! Better to go support him then this unfriendly staff"
