"I had seen China House in Irwin, PA for years but never expected to find good Chinese food here. I was completely wrong. I ordered the sesame chicken from their menu, and it was fresh, delicious, and served in huge portions. Even though I got takeout, the food was still hot by the time I reached home—I almost burned my tongue! This shows how freshly prepared the dishes are, not just reheated. Unlike other places where sesame chicken is overly sweet with tough, old chicken, China House served tender chicken bites with a perfectly balanced sauce. This restaurant is truly fantastic!"

"I placed my order at 7:30 PM, but it didn't arrive until just before 9 PM. When it did, the food was cold. I ordered General Tso's Chicken, which was not spicy, dry, and the meat seemed old. The Orange Chicken was similar—it tasted artificial with a lemon flavor. Given the high prices, this experience felt completely outrageous. I definitely won't be ordering from here again and am even thinking about canceling my subscription. The delivery person took care of other deliveries before bringing mine, which was disappointing. With prices being what they are, customers deserve better than this."

"1. Timing of the order: While the woman who took my order was very friendly, she forgot to include the sauce for the sweet and sour chicken, which ended up tasting plain. I also ordered the Moo Shu pork, and it was overwhelmingly salty. I understand that Chinese food can be salty, but this dish was so salty that it was the only flavor that stood out. It seemed like the cook didn't know how to prepare it properly. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Instead, I will go back to Hit Wok on Argyle."

"I was very disappointed with my recent experience. The last few times I've ordered from this restaurant, the fried rice has been crunchy, and I've had to steam it myself just to soften it up. This time, I have to say the rice was much better, but the shrimp and lobster sauce was watery, the shrimp toast was burnt, and the crawfish egg roll had an overpowering fishy taste. I opted not to eat it because I was worried it might make me sick. I'm not sure if I should stick to the "three strikes and you're out" rule or give them one more chance. It's unfortunate because they're so close to my home and used to be so good."

"I've been going to peking for years and it's my absolute favorite. Eating and service is great, but would definitely be better if they had more help. I see many people here talking about their paperboards and plastic cups, but I know that's because of covid. I'm ready for the dinge to get back normal, but I won't do it for what they have to do until we get there (if we ever do) the general boom, cocos yarns and crab rangoons are number one in my books. I recommend to try it at least once!"

"I always make a point to stop here whenever I pass through Kentucky. The dumplings are fantastic, and I love pairing them with Hibachi steak and a local Ale 8. "We have had dinner twice here since all of the COVID restrictions have been put in place. In my opinion, they are doing a great job keeping customers distanced from each other. Being a buffet, they have you wear your mask, keeping 6' apart, and they load up your plate for you. They have a limited menu at this time. The food both times were great and service was awesome. Well worth the visit."

"They do not understand English good at all. I called in the order and had to repeat myself several times and she kept cutting me off like she knew what I was saying, but she misunderstood. I ordered Kung Pao shrimp and was disappointed to say the least. It was cheaply made with big chunks of celery and carrots as the only vegetable and chocked full of peanuts. I 've had much better quality Kung Pao shrimp from places like MKs which came with broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, etc. and it was much more tasty. My husband ordered sesame chicken and some other chicken and it was fried so hard that he couldn 't eat it. He called and they did replace his food the next day it was much fresher but it was still very bready and not good. I wouldn 't recommend it."

"1. Your greeted with a welcoming hello when you enter definitely a star for that. 2. My waitress was very nice, attentive and made it a point to anticipate what I needed even has a drink to go prepared for me without me asking for it. A star for that. 3. They seemed to keep the buffet bar well stocked and clean. A star for that. I can't say that I tried every dish on the bar but from what I did try; the potatoes, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, seseme chicken I think that was sesame chicken or orange chicken) it was good. I do believe they had some of the sweet and sour chicken sitting on the bar so long that a few pieces was dried out. Also I tried both egg rolls types and it seems that they may be trying to save money by stuffing them both with just cabbage. I can see them using just vegetables for the spring rolls but they did not chop the cabbage well. When I ate both egg rolls I pulled out huge clumps of cabbage leaving the egg rolls empty. Chopping the cabbage more would have prevented that. I still think it's okay to give this restaurant a try if you're nearby they even smile and thank you for coming on your way out."

"I was quite disappointed with my meal. I ordered three takeout items, starting with the Pad Thai with beef, which was probably the only dish that had any flavor; however, it still fell short of tasting like authentic Thai food. Next, I tried the yellow curry with chicken and was surprised to find only a few tiny pieces of chicken in a bowl mostly filled with curry sauce and onions, along with a few small carrots and potatoes. While the flavor was acceptable, the lack of chicken was frustrating. Lastly, I would recommend skipping the rice—it tasted like plain white rice with ketchup and was more reminiscent of Mexican rice than true Thai rice. I won’t be returning."
